My friend's cat has moderate cerebellar hypoplasia and functions very well overall, is the cuddliest etc.
For years he has been peeing around the house. He does use the litterbox too and never really poops outside of it. Just ALSO pees outside of it - mostly by the door, the windows, and the radiators as well as whenever he's left alone. But there are often some surprise locations too...
He used to have "small" kidney stones problems years ago but received meds and has been fed special urinary problems food since. Most importantly, last month's very extensive vet tests came all clear and she was leaning towards it being a behavioral issue.
