Okay so maybe Iβm pretty uninformed about this subject but itβs been on my mind more than once. Why donβt MCLA club lacrosse teams (Alabama,LSU,UCLA, etc) go division 1? In my opinion lacrosse will never be as big as it could be in the nation until the biggest and strongest division 1 universities are playing lacrosse at the highest level. But for some reason a large majority of them are only playing club lacrosse. Now thereβs nothing wrong with club lacrosse, and club lacrosse could work if it was marketed in literally anyway, but it isnβt. Whereas NCAA division 1 lacrosse is marketed well, could you imagine in the college lacrosse championship if it was Maryland vs Alabama or something like that? Maybe thereβs more to it than what I think there is, I know youβd have to put the money into the sport at every university to make it a full sport but ultimately the game of lacrosse would benefit immensely from it. The game would grow so rapidly and it would create more opportunities for great lacrosse at the highest level. Iβd love to hear some peopleβs thoughts on this, even if itβs just to tell me that Iβm wrong, definitely think it would be cool to see some day.
My family is moving to nyc from Baltimore to NYC in fall of 2022. My son plays for a competitive club team in Baltimore. What are some of the best club teams in New York that are not on Long Island?
Hi everyone,
Sorry if this isn't the best place to post this and please send suggestions if there's somewhere better!
I'm starting a girls club lacrosse team in Georgia and I, being the most uncreative person I know, am struggling to come up with a decent mascot for team name/logo.
Some current teams in the area are Eagle Stix, Georgia Outlaws, Hotlanta, Thunderbird Lax, and Goal Diggers.
Open to any and all suggestions! Thanks y'all :)
iβve been thinking about starting to play lacrosse for a while, i have a stick, and iβm getting decent at the basics. i know lacrosse season starts in the spring, so iβve missed my time to play. iβm not sure if thereβs a good way to find a club to play with, or if thereβs a good way to practice during the winter. if ANYBODY can help me out a bit, because iβm very lost, you would literally be a lifesaver.
Hey, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or info on the Men's Lacrosse Club at ASU? I've been looking into it and I've been wanting to be more involved on campus and reignite my passion for lacrosse.
The questions I currently have are:
That's all I have for now, feel free to PM me if you would like to! Enjoy the rest of your day!!
US Club lacrosse update their club lacrosse rankings. For rankings information you can visit https://www.usclublax.com/rankings
So I prolly wonβt be able to play Fall lacrosse because tryouts passed and the tryouts that are coming up I wonβt be able to attend since Iβm traveling. What should I do in the spare time and should I sign up for box lacrosse in the winter ?

I am going to college in about one month from now. They have a club team that is looking for new players (guess a lot of the old players must've graduated this past year). The recruiting post basically said experience doesn't matter... so I reached out to the team captain who put up the post. He confirmed that they were taking in people who had never played before and talked a bit about the practice schedule this year.
As someone who has the equiptment and enjoys watching the games, I got a bit excited like "whoa I have a chance to play lax". I love the sport, but I haven't actually had a chance to play on a team before now. I started working out a little bit and played some wall ball when i had some free time. However, I'm still, respectively, a newb.
Does anyone who was in a similar position (in starting playing lax when older) have any advice?
Played lacrosse in high school (other than senior year getting cut short due to covid). I looked at the competitive club and the more casual club, but I want to play games. Whatβs the club team like? Is it overly competitive or different levels can have fun? I wouldnβt say Iβm a pro level cause itβs been a few years since playing, but I love the game and I have a few years of experience. I just want an idea of what to expect with it.
Hey guys, looking into maybe joining the mens lacrosse club. I've reached out through their interest page and their email but no reply. Does anyone know if they're still getting together this year?
Hey everyone I was just wondering if anyone whoβs played club lacrosse has any thoughts or reviews about how serious the actual lacrosse is as well as how the social aspects are like parties and that. Lmk if you have any thoughts, thanks!
