Blackfriars Bridge Lift cryptic message
In the Blackfriars Bridge lift, when going up the lift at Blackfriars Bridge, the voice in the lift says 'The Lord Mayor shall feast on thy eyes and ears on the second Saturday of November.' The second Saturday of November is the Lord Mayor's show. Anyone have any information why? is it just some troll?

Police stopping cyclists on Blackfriars Bridge this morning
I was cycling to work this morning and saw about four policemen who had stopped several cyclists on both sides of the cycling lane on South side of Blackfriars Bridge. Just wondering if they may have been giving tickets for jumping red lights. Do police usually bother stopping cyclists?

Police out again on Blackfriars Bridge
Speed trap, heading southbound. They were out twice last week and again today. Sneaky buggers are on the south side, so you don't see them until you've come over the hump at the centre of the bridge. Bet they'll be out again this week.
