I was on Jameis Winston’s wiki earlier and noticed that he was born in Bessemer, a small Alabama town of 27,456 (according to the 2010 US Census), and I recalled from a 30 for 30 that Bessemer was the town Bo Jackson was from. "You Don't Know Bo" is wonderful, if you haven't seen it yet.
Anyways, as I dug deeper, I noticed that small town produced some other recognizable names…
Not only is that where Winston and Jackson are from, but Reese McCall, Elijah Nevett, Anthony Henton, Kerry Rhodes, Demeco Ryans, Rod Windsor, and McKinley Boykin are as well.
That's NINE NFL players from the humble town of Bessemer. As well as rapper Gucci Mane and other athletes/baseball players/NASCAR drivers.
Whats in the water in Bessemer? BTW, Bessemer has been considered Alabama's "Worst City to Live in" by 24/7 Wall Street, just another fun tidbit.

Happy new years everybody but please don't shoot in the air.
From packages being dropped down ravines and found in woods, now for over a year now they give you a delivery date and your lucky if you can even get it that week (if at all.) I'm curious if its due to a lack of staff, poor management, or just lazy employees. I don't believe it is due to the pandemic since UPS always gets the job done right.

Anybody else experiencing problems having items delivered by FedEx from their Bessemer facility? I had a package arrive there on 11/9 and it still hasn’t been delivered. I called the vendor and they shipped another item. It arrived from Texas in Birmingham in two days before it was inexplicably sent to Bessemer. It has now been “on FedEx vehicle for delivery” for three days. This place seems to be a black hole!
Edit: Is there anything that can be done about this? Based on the comments, it seems that this is a new facility (new employees) with understandable growing pains. On the other hand, if drivers and warehouse workers are mislabeling items as out for delivery, delivered, etc., that seems like a problem. Would FedEx corporate even care? Ideas?
Hi everyone! I’m trying to get to Evenlode, and I have been grinding Identity Uncovered in Ealing Garden in order to rob Mr Irons in Parabola. I looked into the other posts about Bessemer Steel, and apparently making skeletons is a good way to get them as well.
So I was wondering which would be the better method out of the two of them, and if the answer is skeleton, what kind of skeleton should I make? Thank you!
