A list of puns related to "Baseline Road"
Sharing this in case it's anyone's kids' favourite thing, or anything like that :) Describe it in private message, and I can pass it along! If there's somewhere better to post things like this, please let me know, fairly new to Ottawa!

i know there's some sort of What's That Noise subreddit for ottawa, or there used to be, but i can't seem to find it so this is going here!
did anyone else hear what sounded like gunshots or fireworks at around 11:35 pm november 14th? i heard it from my room on baseline near clyde but it sounded distant.
Congestion starting to build.
Keys fell out of my pocket on a run this morning...
I've been living in this apartment for 6-7 months, and since day one they failed to turn over the apartment, and there has been roaches. They still fail to get rid of them and help - the worst is I have a son, the property manager seems to feel this is acceptable that there are living roaches at this establishment. I've tried numerous times to resolve this with property management, and superintendents, they fail to take any action (the first of many issues) - so I've resorted to coming here for advice.
A small list of issues we've had so far (there's plenty more we've documented, that aren't fixed, here's some major ones):
Any ideas on the next steps? I'm seeking to file tenants board complaint next, but is there anything that can be done in the mean time?
Hey, I was driving through refinery row on Baseline and between 17th and the Henday I was hit with this horrid rotten egg smell. I am not sure if it was H2S or what but it was bad.
I called 311 and was transferred around a bit to the Strathcona Fire Department and they said there was an incident and they were responding.
Does anyone know what happened?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this.
I have a project which aims to quantify herpetofauna road mortality within a small town. More specifically, my objectives are to determine the species in question and how important they are to conservation internationally (e.g. through CITES or the IUCN Red List), and to produce a spatial distribution map of herpetofauna road mortality. So far, I've only been able to come up with a hypothesis which states that herpetofauna road mortality is greater in areas with higher quality habitat i.e. areas with more green space, specifically green space which resembles wetland habitats.
How do I go about formulating a hypothesis for a descriptive study that aims to quantify road mortality of herps?

Anyone know what these two things are on either side of Baseline Road? They look industrial in purpose, except for the fact that they have decorative drawings of birds and nature scenes on them. They're pretty big--30 foot cubes?
Anyone who has driven on Baseline Road during rush hour knows what a shit show it is.
Considering Southern is only a short distance away, parallels Baseline well past Laveen and, while it can get congested, sees a much lower amount of traffic I have to think one of the big issues with Baseline is that people from Chandler and such are using Baseline to go west.
Presumably the 202 expansion will give these people an alternate route.
Are there other factors Iβm overlooking that make Baseline so deplorable?
