A female European Honey Buzzard Bird was fitted with a satellite tracking system in Finland. She left South Africa heading north on 20 April and on the 2nd of June, she finally reached Finland where she will probably spend the summer before probably returning again next season for a visit

The Oriental Honey Buzzard has small "scale" feathers on its face with a curved, armor-like appearance which may help prevent stings from reaching the skin. All of their feathers have a unique filamentous substance that deters bees and wasps.
