anyone else not able to hear audio after like 2 minutes? what you doin guys?
Hello there, I have no idea where to post this. But can anybody explain when a station is glitching it randomly cuts to an automated voice read out an IP of some place before switching back to the broadcast whether glitching or not?
I have a recording of it happening. It read:
>1 0 (dot) 2 5 1 (dot) 1 1 8 (dot) 8 3
I Hear this happen Twice! Once on the Rockford, IL NWR Station KZZ-57 and Once on some random AM Station when I was scrolling through, both stations were having trouble at the time.
So can somebody please explain?
I'm a new Reddit user (I've lurked for years reading occasionally), and I'd like to show off some of what my team has been doing in the research space for the past few years. We have an automated speech system that's being used in various clinical settings (originally developed as a speech therapy tool for aphasia patients), that looks like it's probably "state of the art" in gaming as well. So it might be time to generate some buzz for my team, which is some awfully smart folks from all over the world. Most recently I've developed a script that imports the speech from our software into 3DS MAX, and I intend to make it importable into game engines as well (without MAX or Maya as an intermediary).
Do folks think there might be interest in this? It's obviously not a Skyrim mod yet, but does anyone care enough about the lip sync, even when considering other mods that improve the lip sync, for this to be desirable?
This video has absolutely no polish on it whatsoever, I originally made it to share internally, detailing for my boss and the team what the current system looks like, so I'm sorry about the somewhat meager quality of the video.

Just wondering what your guys’ thoughts are on this.
Hey everyone, this is my first time posting so I'm sorry if I've formatted this wrong. I'm an ITU nurse in the UK and like everywhere, we've been full of Covid19 patients. A lot of the patients I've had recently are awake and on a slow respiratory wean and have trachies in place. As they can't communicate verbally, they tend to mouth words to me. Unfortunately, I am absolutely pants at lip reading and although we have communication boards with pictures that they can point to, I've found that a lot of my patients will wave them away and continue to try and mouth words. It's obviously even harder when they are confused as what they're saying may not make sense in that moment to me. Has anybody found any tools to improve lip reading skills please? Or have any tips on how I can get better? I've asked my boyfriend if he will mouth stuff to me at home, but he will either forget after five minutes or start mouthing something really bizarre to throw me off. A few days ago he mouthed that our dog has a sock for a tail... 🙄🙄🙄

I had an account in HitBTC years ago, more recently I decided to reuse it, so before depositing I checked my settings and it showed that I can withdraw up to 1 BTC per day
When I deposited, I found that my account is frozen, no trading and withdrawal allowed, and they want me to KYC
I did provide all information, but instead of verifying me they asked for more information (digital copy of bank statement)
My bank statement is sent to me (from my bank) with a password, so I opened it, printed it again into a pdf file (to get rid of the password), and submitted it
Now they claim that they can't accept it because it was modified! I contacted their support team and all what they did is resending the same message...
If you won't verify me please allow me to withdraw my funds and close my account

I am not VAT registered and live in the UK. I am about to accept this but one part gets me. "You only sell goods that are zero-rated or exempt from VAT and therefore are not required (or voluntarily opted) to register for VAT in the EU."
That reads to me as zero rated or goods exempt from vat. Not about your situation.
Someone actually asked this on the UK forums and the reply was " Your not understanding it properly.
Exempt from VAT, is not the same as VAT exempt.
You are the first, if you are not registered for VAT. "
Who is right? It does seem odd that Amazon would invest such time into a tool for sellers that a. are below threshold and b. sell zero rated/exempt goods only. It makes much more sense for it to be for everyone who is not required to register for vat. People seem to just be clicking this left and right on the forums without actually considering anything.
