A list of puns related to "Army Service Forces"
Also, are these tests difficult? Thanks for replying.
I know I was a lurker in this subreddit for a while before I joined and had a lot of questions about the program, so I am taking this opportunity to provide my experience to others that might be contemplating going this route.
Some background:
I did 3.5 years Active Duty Army back in '11-'14, with the other 4.5 required years in IRR. In 2018 I talked to a great recruiter for the Air Force, spent about 2ish years waiting for a slot, and got blessed with an aircrew slot as an FE. I'm still in the IQT training pipeline for FE so I've got a while to go.
Some things I probably won't be able to answer:
-How long are YOU going to have to wait?
Results may vary, my best advice is to strap in the for the long haul. Check in with a recruiter with your intentions--my experience with Air Force recruiters is that they are the opposite of the other branches: Way less thirsty, they are bombarded with recruits. They also are much more upfront about the current state of things. A lot less shadiness.
-Anything to do with going Reserves, Air National Guard, Special Operations, or commissioning.
As specified above, I can only give experience that I have-- which is limited to regular Active Duty Army to Active Duty Air Force.
Any other questions y'all could have I can definitely field.
