A list of puns related to "Anti Asian racism in France"

Context: Tons of Japanese and Korean Judokas have been ragdolling non asian judokas with this technique known as the reserve seoi nage. Their mastery of it is so high that they decided to outright ban it all together to stop Japanese and Korean fighters having an advantage. It is a legitimate Judo move that doesn't cause significant harm against an opponent on the map.
This is the exact same thing they're doing in cutting down on the Olympics, banning weightlifting and baseball because Asians are simply too good at it.
I am honestly appalled that I even have to read about this news but a Russian influencer at a recent fansign is facing much backlash for her racist and rude behavior at a recent Ateez fansign event. She recently moved to South Korea and posts mainly K-pop related content on TikTok.
Some of the comments made to the members faces at the fansign were mocking their ability to speak English saying things like, βWhy are you waving Mingi, you should spend your time by learning English and what the word 'flower' means." as well as saying other rude remarks like, βI praise you for having found your own style and stopped imitating Jiminβ to Wooyoungβ These were just some of the many comments that she made towards the members during the fansign.
After the fansign, she went on TikTok to talk about her experience at the concert and she was making slit-eye gestures mocking Asians on a live broadcast. She also was talking about how the members had larger eyes than she expected. Also, randomly, there was also a video of her throwing away Ateez albums. Like, was she doing this for publicity ? Because if so⦠it makes it even worse.
My blood is literally boiling at this. This is literally such disgusting and vile behavior and I hope that she is held accountable for it all. Like, what world must she live in to think that this is okay at all ?!?!? I feel SO bad for the members of Ateez that had to endure all of that.
This is not even about K-pop anymore. Itβs about being a decent human being towards and among others which she failed to be.

EDIT #1: Thank you to Russian fans who have confirmed her words or talked about the debate on translations since they are the ones who know the language best. Iβm very glad to have their input in this discussion!!!
EDIT #2: This incident has spread so fast that it is now trending on a public forum of Pann. So, basically Korean netizens have seen it. It is currently at 139K views on the site.
This sub is fine but sometimes it's overloaded with the same anti Asian stories. Anything other Asian subs that's more happy than not?

The Asian guy is embarrassing honestly. He claims there's only been one attack and that the anti asian movement is blown out of proportion. Idk what type of rock this dumbass been living under.
Also I don't know why Godfrey always talks about asian rights and stuff when he's had this vlad tv video blatantly being racist against east asians. I appreciate offensive humor but this was just tacky.
Fuck vladtv too, he always starts shit between people, asks the dumbest questions (try his interviews with China Mac lol).

From the r/AskHistorians mod team:
On Tuesday, 16 March 2021, eight people were murdered in a series of attacks on massage parlors in and around Atlanta, Georgia (United States). Six of these victims were women of Asian descent. Their names are Daoyou Feng (ε―ιε), Hyun Jung Grant (κΉνμ ), Suncha Kim (κΉμμ), Soon Chung Park (λ°μμ ), Xiaojie βEmilyβ Tan (θ°ε°ζ΄), and Yong Ae Yue (μ μ©μ ). Two others, Delaina Ashley Yaun and Paul Andre Michels, were also murdered on Tuesday evening.
The brutality of these crimes has been met with expressions of shock and dismay across the globe; however, the Atlanta-area attacks are hardly unprecedented. Since the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, over four thousand incidents of anti-Asian violence have been reported across Canada and the United States.^([1]) While it is easy to ascribe the xenophobic hatred that fueled these attacks to the impact of Trumpian rhetoric, it is important to understand that the sentiments underpinning that rhetoric first originated in the white colonial empires of the nineteenth century. Anti-Asian racism is woven into the fabric of Canadian and American national history, and it is important to understand and acknowledge both the systematic othering of Asian Americans, Asian Canadians, and Asian immigrants to North America and the violence that such othering has historically inspired and, in many ways, excused.
The βYellow Perilβ
European states began colonizing parts of Asia in the sixteenth century in an attempt to control the production and movement of lucrative trade goods between Asia and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and North and South America. In this early period of colonialism, European perceptions of Asia were generally positive, resulting in a characterization of the region as being at least as civilized as Europe. However, by the nineteenth century, European intentions in Asia had become transparently imperialistic. Trade-driven colonization in the region was dominated by the United Kingdom, but Germany, France, Russia, and the United States, among others also held imperial aspirations in Asia. These aspirations were built increasingly upon stereotypes that characterized Asian persons as physically, intellectually, culturally, and morally inferior to the white Europeans who sought to exploit and control Asian resources. Gone were the positive stereotypes about Asia and its people, which were replaced by the same kinds of stereotypes that Europeans had used to justify the c

Have been meaning to do some unpacking of alphabet agencies' campaign against Asians that has dire effects on Asian Americans, but between life and bucket-of-crabbing (like potentially viet_t_nguyen, it's tough to "not on my watch".
Hope everyone is as well as can be during these trying times.

Is there a way to add "propaganda" to flair?
It started off with a post regarding a black influencer making a harmful misconception about East Asians regarding skin bleaching and colourism. Commenters were upset and started saying that Asian racism tends to be normalized. Mods decided to leave this post right here and locked the comments. Afterwards, commenters were unhappy and called out the mods. Now the mods have double downed on this stance.
I was walking towards the grocery store in Centertown and coughed (into my arm) because there was cigarette smoke around me. Some ignoramus decided to roll down his window and make some rude comments towards me. I couldn't hear everything he said but he pointed at me and kept saying "Are you Dr. Tam? Are you Dr. Tam? You're sick! Call the Chinese Embassy." Then he said something about Shanghai. I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist of what I heard. He probably made other comments too before I took my earbuds off. Dr. Tam is chief public health officer of Canada and is from Hong Kong.
All the while he's being an obnoxious C U Next Tuesday, the woman beside him was smiling and shaking her head, as if she was kind of was embarrassed that he was making a scene, but obviously, she found it amusing and she didn't stop him and just smiled as she looked right at me.
I pulled out my phone to take a video unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to catch their faces but I do have a photo of the car and license plate. They looked white, slightly overweight. The guy had curly/wavy brown hair that looked to be past his ears in terms of length. It all took me back so I couldn't totally register how they looked.
Not much I can do about it because I don't have solid proof of him yelling. Would a police report do anything? The silver lining is that there was a guy on his bike who saw and showed some support which was nice in such a shitty moment.
In light of all the incidents of violent anti-Asian hate crimes, this was a bit frightening and I wanted to warn others out there about this guy (and the woman with him), and just to be vigilant in general. Ottawa is fairly safe in my experience but there are some nut jobs out here who will harm others.
EDIT: Reading all the supportive comments restores my faith in humanity. I know that nothing will likely happen to this guy from my report but at least I can share this to spread awareness to other people. I hope this can serve as a reminder to be careful and take care of those around you.
This motherfucker ruined my day but I still did everything I needed to today. Ain't no way this greasy douchebag will get in the way of what I need to do.
