A list of puns related to "Akshay Kumar"
Watched his recent films, sooryavanshi and atrangi re. The man is so bland. No charm, no charisma. He just seems to be mouthing dialogues. In his quest the churn out films back to back, he isn't making any efforts to perform. Prithviraj's trailer showed that he has pretty much fucked that role up too. It's sad to see the long list of films that are lined up for him. Any other actor could do a better job. Akshay thinks like a businessman not an actor and it shows in his films these days.
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas are two of the most loved Bollywood celebrities. It is always a treat to watch them on screen. The two have worked together for nearly five films but tension arose when the latter’s former manager made some shocking allegations against the superstar.
Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager Prakash Jaju once took to Twitter and called out Sooryavanshi star for being the biggest selfish person in the film industry. He accused the superstar of being extremely greedy and not helping those producers who shaped up his career during his initial days in the film industry.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ former manager tweeted, “I am 4 peg down, won’t lie.. biggest selfish person I have found in these 35 years of my career is @akshaykumar.. His only motto is to take money.” He did not stop there. He went on to abuse Akshay Kumar on the social media.
Priyanka’s ex-manager manager tweeted, “@akshaykumar ek ch***ya jaise din bhar paise paise karta rehta hai.. Kya marne ke baad paisa apne saath uper le jaayega? Usko un producers ko help karna chahiye jinhone uske bure time main saath diya tha.”

Was watching some Hera Pheri clips on YT and man has Akshay come a long long way. \s
Akshay in the past decade have made a brand out of himself for biopics, patriotic movies and mindless action films.
As much his intiative in movies like Padman is commendable, his work in movies like Sooryavanshi and Laxmii Bomb has ruined his memorable works.
He was beyond amazing in Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiya, Welcome, where his witty self and humor peaked. He had expressions, like he was actually enjoying being on screen.
But now he has overexposed himself. He is doing almost 5-6 films a year just for the money and...Nothing.
He looks the same in all of his films, acts the same, comes of as stiff and bored. He looks exhausted on screen. Like he is doing just for the sake of it.
He has 5 projects (if I remember correctly) coming out this year, 5 films, one person. I mean he is a human so how much effort must he have put on in film like Prithviraj when he needs to he on set for his next gazillion films.
Even in comedy films like Housefull series, he has just lost himself. The Akshay from HP is gone and will never be back. Greed takes over talent.
Akshay Kumar has a new addition to his already packed 2022 movie calendar. Peepingmoon.com has exclusively learned that the Bollywood superstar has now signed the Hindi remake of Suriya’s Tamil blockbuster Soorarai Pottru—an emotional biographical drama inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder Capt. G.R. Gopinath. Sudha Kongara Prasad, who helmed the original 2020 film, will direct the remake as well, while Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment is producing it alongside Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has signed five new films to shoot throughout 2022. He will begin with Raj Mehta’s Selfiee next month and follow that with the Soorarai Pottru remake. Akshay will then head to a London-based thriller that he’s doing for Panorama Studios. He will then collaborate with Tiger Shroff for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ambitious action-comedy, tentatively titled Bade Miyaan Chhote Miyaan. Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s Gorkha, which was announced a few months back, will go on floors only towards the year-end.

Not just this interview though, all his interviews with politicians are basically 50% of the time him clowning around, in a hissy fit, trying to crack jokes and the other half filled with low ball questions.
And the comment section hypes him up like he is some top tier journalist. I don't get this. What I think he is good at it is when he used to do his street interviews with commoners. That's where his humour, sarcasm, satire shines.
What's your view on his political interviews?
Video in question: https://youtu.be/GTkU4qj6v7g?t=202 (Start at 3:20)
As part of his "Fitness Mantras", Akshay Kumar says, and I paraphrase "the person who can't take an hour out to exercise in a day should die, they should kill themselves". I got a shorter version of this video as a forward and was just baffled at how he is even allowed to say this.
I know exercise is important and I have had to deal with the ill effects of not exercise in the past, but how on earth is someone as influential as this guy allowed to say "Kill yourself" as if it means nothing. The family member who sent this to me said, "This is specifically for you" - and I have been struggling to exercise because of poor mental health, but surely this is a toxic and unacceptable video. But then, I hunted down the original video and saw the comments, and people are nothing but happy about what he says. Surely I can't be over-reacting, can I?
I see only Sara promoting. Radio silence from these two..Thoughts?
Shefali Shah agrees that there is a glaring disparity when it comes to the roles offered to men and women in the Hindi film industry. After a certain age, women are relegated to roles of mothers and aunts while men in their 50s continue to rule the industry. “Once you are a mother, filmmakers don’t know what to do with you. They’ll probably get you to play the neighbourhood aunty,” Shefali says, as she speaks about the lack of strong roles for women. The actor, however, has swam against the tide as she has received a wave of good offers after her inspired turn in Delhi Crime.
In an exclusive chat with indianexpress.com, Shefali gets candid about her initial years in the film industry, finding her ground in her 40s and her dream project — her newly opened restaurant Jalsa.

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ continues to mint big money. The film released on the occasion of Diwali and is currently in its fourth week at the box office. On its fourth Monday the film collected a decent Rs 55-60 lakhs. According to Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Sooryavanshi’ has earned a total of Rs 6.25 crore nett in its fourth week and has raked in a total of 191 crore nett till now. The film is expected to end its theatrical run with Rs 196 crore nett, falling slightly short of the coveted 200 crore club.
‘Sooryavanshi’ has received a positive response from Saurashtra, Gujarat. This Rohit Shetty directorial recorded a good trend in the Mumbai circuit as well, which has contributed close to Rs 83 crore nett till date.
Post ‘Sooryavanshi’, Rohit Shetty is now planning to start work on ‘Singham 3’ with Ajay Devgn. Speaking about his plans the filmmaker had told ETimes, “After ‘Cirkus’, there's a hint that we may carry forward the ‘Sooryavanshi’ story with ‘Singham’. Now Singham has that kind of effect that every time he comes on screen he makes an impact, but actually the last Singham film came out in 2014. Ajay and I have worked together in ‘Golmaal’ after that. So the idea now is to bring back the original cop, the character with whom it all started. ‘Singham 3’ will take atleast a year to start and then probably another year to get made. So we are looking at 2023, probably. It's a long time, let's see what happens.”
According to a recent report, Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in an action drama alongside Tiger Shroff and looks like we have a name now
Akshay Kumar seems to have his schedule packed with multiple releases scheduled in the upcoming months. His film Atrangi Re hit the theatres on Friday and the response has already been quite impressive in terms of performances and storyline. According to a recent report, he will soon be seen in an action drama alongside Tiger Shroff and looks like we have a name now.
For the unversed, Akki has lately been working on Ram Setu and Bachchan Pandey, both of which have been scheduled for 2022. The trailer of his next, Prithviraj, was launched a few weeks back and it opened to mixed reviews from the audiences. Some people were unimpressed with the action sequences and Akshay’s acting while others spoke highly of the upcoming period drama.
According to a report by ETimes, the upcoming Ali Abbas Zafar directorial with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will be similar to the 1998 film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It also suggests that the movie will be given the same title and will go on floors in 2022 once the two actors get done with their prior commitments.
Bade Miya Chote Miyan was a comedy film which was directed by David Dhawan in t6he late 1990s. The movie featured Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in the lead role alongside Ramya Krishnan and Raveena Tandon. The makers have also allegedly decided to aim for a 2023 release and the script has already been locked.
A Pinkvilla source had previously revealed, “Ali Abbas Zafar has been planning a big scale two-hero film for a long time now, and he has finally locked the script that does justice to the presence of two big action stars. He narrated the idea to both Akshay and Tiger, who have already agreed to do this action spectacle with little comedy. It will go on floors sometime late next year, once Ali is done with the work on his current assignment with Shahid Kapoor.” Are you guys excited to see Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff on the silver screen together?
