A list of puns related to "Adapted process"
Basically, how would modern humans look like if - for some reason - we spent a long time in a sort of Iron Age, Bronze Age, or Middle Age stasis? As in, enough time for us to adapt the same way we adapted to our previous hunter-gatherer lifestyle?
Would we have purged lactose intolerance completely from our genome? Would our immune system adapt to the constant plagues and become more similar to that of bats, who are highly resistant to infectious disease? Would we continue some old trends of evolution, like self-domestication and neoteny? Would we somehow fix the horrific childbirth mortality rates in human women?
My first showcase of one of my older concepts did really well so I decided to show off one of my other favorite old designs, this one was made a few years ago, actually.
How can I show that an adapted process is a martingale?
I need to prove that E[Xn+m|Fn]=Xn for all n,m in N(including 0)
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks
The Best
Oberyn Martell- I think this mainly has to do with Pedro Pascal's fantastic performance (one of the best the show has had, in my opinion), but I believe that his whole character, his mission, and his fight was done very well. He was able to reintroduce the audience to some very old events that never happened and screen, and he made the audience give a shit about his struggle for revenge. He was truly a fan favorite up until his explosive departure. Speaking of that, his fight was done very well too, and the lack of any peasant-murdering was made up for by the "who gave you the order" line. In fact, the only real dissappointing part of these events (aside from the awful reintroduction of the Mountain) was the follow up to the fight, which lacked The Mountain screaming for all of King's Landing to hear.
Arya and the Hound- I am aware that they stretched their time together out quite a bit- and this turned out to be a great move. Maisie Williams and Rory Mccann both shined here, and the Hound's "death" was done very well. I'm just wondering where we will be on the gravedigger next season.
The Worst
Littlefinger Reveal- Remember how much us book readers love that moment, and were hyping it up extraordinarily hard for the show? sigh First off, I have no issue with the "Your Sister" change. Same concept, same number of syllables, same effect. However, I do have an issue with how unfinished and sloppy Lysa's death scene actually was. They kind of screwed themselves over initially by bombing the Jon Arryn reveal, so that it flew over everybody's head. It would have been much more effective if Lysa's maliciousness and Petyr's scheming was saved for the end. Now for the actual scene. The absence of the singer, while providing a good moment for Sansa, was completely out of character for Littlefinger, as he really had no backup plan when suspicions were aroused. Also, I hated how they had Lysa scream. It was an unnecessary and cheesy addition, and it baffles me how they didn't stick to the book. There is also the fact that Lysa falling just looked cheesy and fake in general. The scene in the book stayed with you long after you read it, but all show watchers have essentially forgotten this scene even happened, confirming it was butchered.
Bloodraven's Reveal- I'm going to keep this short and sweet. When you got a shit ton of show watchers wondering what Grand Maester Pycelle was doing in a weirwood in the middle of nowwhere, it's e
Just started homebrewing and simply followed the recipes for the first couple of beers. Decided to try something a little different this time, so made a Russian Imperial Stout by the book, before racking over cherries and then cacao nibs to make my "Soviet Kirsch" Russian imperial stout with cherry.
Following the recipes was enjoyable enough as a beginning, but deciding to add something myself made it even more so.
Shame I decided to do it with a beer that is going to take a couple of months conditioning, but tasted good at bottling, so hopefully the wait will be worth it!
