I saw it in 8th grade, wrote it down and watched it online, but have since lost that paper and the video streaming site it was on has been lost to Youtube.
It's from 1993- a computer animated video about elements. It essentially follows the Cinderella story, but atoms are used to represent people. They're literally just spheres that float around. No faces, mouths, arms or legs. I know at one point, "Cinderella" is washing dishes at a sink and exclaims "rotten, ugly stepsisters!"
Instead of a ball with a prince, there's a party at a dance club. Not atoms "over 18" are allowed in. We see some atoms dance and then they eventually bond.
