A list of puns related to "63rd Street"
Class + Instructor: Restorative Yoga
Location: East 63rd (NYC)
Length: 60 mins.
Equinox's Description: A healing class with slow-paced, well-supported, and relaxing stretches. Unwind, de-stress, and focus on releasing tension and increasing body awareness.
Sweat Level: 1/10 β Very low key class that was all about stretching and getting loose - great class to take if you have to run out for an appointment or lunch without a shower
Tone Level: 1/10 β Mostly Flexibility and breathing work with long stretches
Sneakers/Props: Barefoot with a mat, blocks, bolster, blanket, and strap
Vibe: Very chill environment with a very involved instructor. She makes sure you are doing everything correctly to avoid injury and does get a little in your face about it, but it makes for a better experience.
Thoughts on Instructor: You could tell Anubha knows her stuff. Every exercise was done with purpose and led into the next one.
Thoughts: If you need a chill day but don't want to mess up your streak, this is the class to take. Also, a great option to add on after a run or more intense class to cool down and stretch properly.
Go Back? Absolutely! I'm hoping to make this one a weekly occurrence
Class + Instructor: Vinyasa Yoga with Andrea Borerro
Location: East 63rd (NYC)
Length: 60 mins.
Equinox's Description: This timeless approach to yoga links movement and breath through a creative, flowing sequence of postures. Unlock your body's potential, challenge your limits, and soothe your mind in this transformative practice.
Sweat Level: 6/10 β We were holding challenging poses and doing strength drills so definitely was sweating more than a normal Vinyasa class!
Tone Level: 7/10 β Unlike normal Vinyasa I've taken, this class was filled with longer holds, strength training drills, and repeated core scorchers. Great way to switch up the practice.
Sneakers/Props: Barefoot with a mat and optional blocks
Vibe: Energetic but still had a chill yoga vibe
Thoughts: Andrea was great and adding in the strength drills was a fun addition. I would be interested in taking a flow class with her as well, but the drills and holds were a great way to switch up a yoga class while still making it feel like a yoga class.
Go Back? Absolutely! Great class and great instructor

This is the craziest thing I've ever heard of in the subway.
How brazen do you have to be to rape someone on a subway platform near NOON?
EDIT (5:33PM 8/30/2020): According to NY1, the man has been arrested. Thank god.
So maybe I missed it this but here is something that doesnβt make sense to me. In the earlier episodes there is speculation that Keishaβs boyfriend/hook up may have taken her. This dude is with the 63rd street mob and they are convinced enough that she may be held in one of their trap houses being pimped out to convince Trig and Niaomi to take it over and risk a war with the gang.
But yet no one bothered to talk to Douda? I mean Douda is supposedly a ranking member of 63rd street - Iβm pretty sure Jake could have asked Douda for help and get his lieutenants to make sure they donβt have her. Especially given his grown interest and respect in him, I imagine heβd have to juice to get her out if they or one of their rivals had her.
Even if he didnβt help, doesnβt Jake also have a network of 63rd street members he could lean on? Especially those who were close to Reg?
It just seems weird to me that no one apparently had these conversations.
Why is the R not routed through the 63rd Street Tunnel? I was looking at the track map and it looks like it'd be feasible enough to do, and there's a crossover to the BMT Broadway connection on the Q SAS Route. This would free up a lot of the capacity constraints that currently bottleneck/delay the Broadway line, namely the 59th St. Connector and the N switching between express and local after 42nd/TSQ.
EDIT: Thanks to /u/CapTengu for answering the question. Routing the R puts it onto the Express tracks, so the N would need to be routed onto QBL and the R onto Astoria. This would leave the R without a yard on both ends. The easiest fix to this would be to build a connection to/from the express tracks south of 36th Street in Brooklyn, route the R via the West End Line, and the D via Bay Ridge. This would also make De-Interlining the South Brooklyn IND/BMT Lines easier in the future.
