So I am planning on taking my girlfriend to a 5sos concert next year (she is a massive fan), and I want to give her the best experience possible. So I was going to get the VIP standing tickets but there is only one left and I can't find another one on any resale sites. Back in 2014-2017 I was a huge 5sos fan, but as I grew older, my music tastes changed, and I kind of stopped listening to 5sos. Occasionally, however, I would break out their old tunes and listen to them (i.e. Out of My Limit, Try Hard, Self Titled Album + B-sides, etc.). I still do that to this day, but I haven't really thoroughly listened to any of their newer albums after Sounds Good Feels Good (I'm not really into this album as much either).
Lately, however, I've gotten into their new music, but I still feel pangs of nostalgia when I listen to their old music (as anyone would). Unfortunately, I couldn't go to their concerts a few years back, but yesterday when I found out they were going on tour again, I couldn't help but be ecstatic.
With that being said, my question is: Do 5sos still play their old music (i.e. any songs before Sounds Good Feels Good) in their live sets ? I'm talking more than just She Looks So Perfect and She's Kind of Hot. Do they still even play Out of My Limit ? I know they're kind of embarrassed of their old songs, but I'd be really sad if I found out they've totally dumped their old music down a blackhole. The other day I tried searching up live sets of their old songs played in 2019-2021, but I didn't find anything. Please help ya girl out !!
Can u be a fan of both 5SOS and The 1975. Ive been a fan of 5SOS for abt 1 year now. I recently started listening to The 1975 but after some research I found that The 1975 have shaded 5SOS in the past and well have a beef. These articles were of 2016 tho so Im not sure whether there is till something like this or not. My friend is a 1975 fan and well she doesnt like 5SOS only bcuz of this reason. If this is the case then is it bad for me to like The 1975 ?
