I picked up Green Jelly's "333" this weekend for record store day, and it's been so long since I've listened to Green Jelly, but upon listening to this, the singer sounds spot-on like Burton C. Bell. I haven't been able to find anything online, other than his (unsure if real?) linkedin:

Biography
Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe, stage name only Tinashe, is a singer, dancer and one-time Polar Express actress. To that last part, Tinashe’s been modelling since she was a young child and transitioned to acting and dancing with her move from Kentucky to Los Angeles. As a teenager, she started putting out mixtapes with varied styles where she had creative control over the music and videos. Her first song with a major label, “2 On”, was a hit that eventually led to a Drake remix and Tinashe’s star rising. She went on to put out her first studio album, Aquarius, working with some of the most well-known rappers of the time. Her follow-ups Nightride and Joyride had her further exploring more experimental beats in the flourishing Alternative R&B scene of the 2010s. By 2016, she got to work with one of her idols, Britney Spears on a “Slumber Party” remix, plus open for the likes of Nicki Minaj and Beyonce. By the mid ‘10s, however, Tinashe was in the midst of many creative disputes and setbacks with her label, RCA. As she started working on her next RCA project, titled Nashe, rumors online speculated that it was being scrapped by the label, another case of the label mysteriously setting her back. By 2019 she parted ways with RCA to become an independent artist. 2019’s independent release, Songs for You is when I picked up to becoming a full-fledged Tinashe fan. It felt noticeably freer and diverse in its palette, a throwback I see now to her mixtape days. Also “Hopscotch” is one of the best songs of all time, facts are facts!!!

Way back in 1992, the band "Green Jellö" was sued by Kraft for trademark infringement on the "Jell-o" brand. The story behind the name, which came from the fact that Green Jell-o is fucking disgusting and their goal was to be the "worst band ever," and the band's motto "Green Jellö sucks" definitely didn't help matters. So, in probably one of the best acts of malicious compliance I've ever heard, they changed their name to "Green Jellÿ." According to the band, putting an umlaut above the "y" meant it was still pronounced with an "o" sound, so they managed to get around the trademark infringement and keep their band name essentially unchanged in verbal communication.
