I took my first lesson in intermediate swimming and the instructor wants to focus on efficient swimming technique. So I'm able to hit half a full lap in 12 strokes but I have to take a minute break to finish the full lap. I've been using a 2 or 3 beat kick and just transitioned from 2 to 3 stroke breathing.
