Hello, I have lived in Indy for the last few years, but I will be moving to another city in May. It looks like the only weekend that is going to work for us to move will be the Indy 500 weekend. Worst of all, I think it will end up having to be on Sunday, the race day. We live along Crawfordsville Road outside of 465 and need to leave town on I69.
How much of a problem is it going to be trying to move on race day? I have never been in town for the race, but I understand the traffic is horrible and they close a bunch of roads. Any ideas on how to alleviate get around any problems? Certain times or roads to avoid? Thanks for the help!
