Great season and this team are so enjoyable to play with. 3rd place finish was much better than I expected at the start of the season and made it to the national cup final too but lost to Inter.
Batshuayi has been a goal machine since replacing Lasagna who got the chance to go play Champions League after 30 league goals in season one.
I position swapped Pezzella because he reminded me so much of a Bale at LB and Skov was a big-money signing who just didn't work out on the wing. Both seem much better in their new positions. Some great young talents too who come in for cup games or off the bench.
Definitely going to be looking at strengthening at CB and GK for the new season as conceded too many goals.

Another 3 points in the bag. After the loss against Hellas Verona, the team had to react to resume our march forward, maintain our position in the head of the table and regain confidence before the derby. Mission completed, not without pain. We started very well, hitting the post twice, playing high, huge pressing , regaining possession quickly, then leading by Calafiori's amazing run and assist for Abraham. After that, we tried to control the game by letting Udinese play and the second half was difficult for us. As a Mourinhista, that's a kind of game i saw several times at Tottenham. Starting well, leading, then dropping back, leave the ball to the opposition, then they started regaining confidence and they come back on the scoreline. Spurs was THE(or one of the )team losing the most points after leading a game last season. This is the kind of victory Mourinho loves, clean sheet, the opposition tried our defense, we resisted, gave them the sensation that they can't score even if the referee allowed us much more time to play. In my opinion it's dangerous due to the profile of the team, because we are a young team, and playing on the edge like that it's unsafe. Anyway, after Verona, we needed a reaction and the team reacted well by the intentions, the pressing and the work rate. The team gave us some good answers to the questions after the Verona game.
Tops : Mancini, Ibanez, Calafiori, Mkhitaryan,Abraham
Flop : Pellegrini
*Mancini: After a difficult game against Verona, he came back at his level, strong in the duel, brave enough to clear Udinese's open goal. Played with huge concentration and dรฉtermination. Good
*Ibaรฑez: To be honest, him and Eldor are my favourites players in the team. Ibaรฑez is an amazing defender in the technical point of view and being coached by Mourinho could only strengthen him. Quick, good passing rate, composed on the ball, he played a amazing first half. After Calafiori's exit, he played as a stability left back to controll an euphoric Soppy.
*Calafiori: 70 minutes at good intensity. One assist by that amazing run. He made us happy and proud. Still soft in the duel against Delofeu and Perreyra. These kind of game are priceless for his growth.
*Mkhitaryan: That's a proper gameย i want him to play on a regular basis. In my opinion Miki should be the our main creative strength due to his talent and his experience. I was tired of seeing him lose easy ball, missing easy passes and not creating enough. He's the most experienced

The Golden State Warriors' current winning percentage is 88.9% which extrapolated over 82 games is equivalent to 72.9 wins, just short of their 15-16 season record. Their next game is against Portland for a chance to surpass that winning percentage

Article from The Ringer by KOC about the Warriors season: https://www.theringer.com/nba/2021/11/18/22789074/golden-state-warriors-stephen-curry-draymond-green-title
And the part about how much the lack of foul calls hasnโt affected them is pretty wild.
โFrom 2014-15 through 2020-21, the Warriors attempted 21.4 free throws per game, which ranked as the 26th-most in the NBA. This season, theyโre posting 21.2 free throws per game, which now ranks fourth. They moved up 22 spots in the rankings despite a decimal difference. Golden State hasnโt had to go through the same adaptation process to the new rules, and it could continue to benefit from the change if foul-drawing remains down throughout the season.โ
KOC doesnโt mention it but Iโd be curious to see which teams have had the biggest disparity in FT dropoff and also match that up to their respective offensive ratings
