In Aladdin (2019), during the Prince Ali introduction scene, Genie sings for everyone to "brush up your Friday salaam" because that is the Muslim Holy Day. This is a change from the original (1992) film, where it is "Sunday salaam".

Just calling the 1992 Coppola film, β€œD”

To all who didn’t know, early in the Pre-Production of Coppola’s 1992 vampire film, ’BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA’, in order to distinguish it from all the other Dracula movies in the landscape, he briefly thought about simply calling the movie ’D’.

However for some reason, probably either marketing, or to show respect to the author, he stuck with the original full title of ’BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA’.

Asking all who may have an opinion on it, what do you think about just calling the film ’D’ instead? Good Idea? Dumb Idea? I can see how it would be kinda cool just calling it 'D', making it more inferential instead of stating the title bluntly.

I can already tell that if they’d gone with that title, today we’d have a bunch of dumb kids saying, ”Heh-Heh, Mina really wanted, ’The β€˜D’ didn’t she??”
