My mom’s (44) EUS test showed pancreatic cancer with infiltrating cancer in the stomach. We’re still waiting for the biopsy result and a PET scan to check for metastasis. The oncologist appt is scheduled for Thursday once all the results are in.
From reading the stage classifications online, doesn’t infiltrating cancer in the stomach indicate it is already stage IV metastatic? Or would the spread to just the stomach and no major blood vessels/arteries still make her resectable or borderline resectable?
I’m going with her to the oncologist appointment and I really hope we find out that she is respectable and that the doctors believe a curative outcome is the end goal of treatment. I’m just confused about if the stomach spread makes it metastatic as is, or if since it’s nearby the pancreas, that’s still only regional.
So far, we know the tumor is 2.8-5.4cm, and that it has infiltrated the stomach. No growth was noticed during the CT/EUS scans on any other parts of the body, but the PET scan should confirm it. The CA19-9 levels are 4,000.
This is all such shocking news and my mom is such an outlier given her age and health profile. It just sucks, and the statistics online are so brutal. I’m only 22 and my little sisters are 11 and 12, I’m terrified of what the future holds

I'm looking into getting my first euc. I'm for sure getting the rs19 just not sure if I should go with ht or hs. I'm getting mixed answers, I'm 6ft and anywhere between 240 and 250. The higher top speed sounds more appealing to me but i read some places if you're a bigger guy you should go with the ht, then other people say you won't notice the difference. I plan to mainly ride on paved streets and occasional, mostly flat dirt offroads. Also what kind of range could I expect out of the hs vs ht? This seems like the place to get some solid answers, thanks 😊 🙏

Arra vagyok kiváncsi, hogy 2 Szputnyik oltással plusz 1 Europa Uniós fogadott vakcinával hova lehet utazni.
Nekem addig csak egy tapasztalom van: Csehország.
- A konzulatos szerint: A cseh fél minden Magyarországon alkalmazott oltást elfogad. Aki mindkét oltást megkapta, és a második oltás óta eltelt legalább 2 hét, avagy Janssen vakcinával történő beoltását követően eltelt legalább 2 hét (ezt EU-s digitális Covid igazolvánnyal szükséges igazolni); - A valoság: én vonattal utaztam és egyszer kértem tőlem a EUs vakcina igazolvány és minden okés volt.
- Tapasztalatom alapjan, ha szeretnetek menni egy koncertre akkor szüksegés lesz egy EUs elfogadott vakcina. Én az Underdogs' névű helyre mentem (Dürer kértre szerintem lehet összehasonlítani) és ott csak a EUs elfodagott vakcina QR kodját fogadtak el (nekem Moderna volt). De nem volt probléma, hogy csak egy oltást kaptam belőle.
Mindjárt elutazom Spanyolországba és aztán Nemétországba, és ha valakit érdekel akkor beszámalom milyen volt. És ha elég ez a harmadik EUs oltás, hogy be tudja lepni az ember.
Nektek van tapasztalatotok Europa Uniós országokba beutazni ilyen vakcina keverékekkel? Hova? Mivel utaztatok? Kértek a EUs igazolvánt? És szüksegés volt csináltatni egy tesztet?

I have posted here already because of my lipase levels. They have been up and down during the last months but always over normal levels, usually around 120.
Did an MRI/MRCP some months ago, they said there might be a sign of inflammation at the tail end, but that was a maybe. Then we did EUS some weeks ago there was nothing found. I also gave a stool sample for elastase that is still pending.
However, for the last weeks I have been feeling MISERABLE. I feel nauseous almost after every meal, especially if it is a fatty one but can just be anything. I had alcohol one time for my birthday and also ate something and I thought I was gonna throw up. Don't know if it was the food or the alcohol. I also have pain in my upper abdomen, under my ribs, mostly on the left side. Is this from my pancreas? I gotta say I also have IBS, so, I never know what it is. But this nausea I never had before, I am having it just right now while I am typing.
My doctor kinda suspected autoimmune pancreatitis and suggeted we just try cortisone. But now that the EUS showed nothing, I don't know if that's still his plan. I read about enzymes, would those help with the nausea? I am taking metoclopramide against it but often it is barely working. I really need to do something against this because sometimes I barely eat.
Does this sound like CP to you? Do you have experiences with cortisone? Any tips against the nausea?
