A list of puns related to "Zack Allan"
My other thread ended up a fiasco when the topic was the importance of Allan being the scriptwriter on WW, but no longer being one for WW84.
I'm pretty sick so I have a lot to time to write this out. I listened two hour interviews with Allan, he's a really interesting writer, so I thought people would enjoy the rundown of his perspective of working on the original Wonder Woman film and how it came to be. So here's a readable breakdown.
Source interview 1. Starts at 20:00. Writers Guild interview.
Allan on how he became part of the film, working with Zack & Geoff and the first developments of WW:
Says Geoff knows Allan has a lot of opinions on the character cause they've been friends for 12 years ... Lol. (This is why he knew Allan would be the perfect guy to speak to Zack about the characters elements.)
Zack surprised Allan when he walked him to his car. Said, "we're going to be writing this movie, what're you doing tomorrow?" Allan was stunned + problem was, he had a full time job. Zack didn't care and accommodated to work with him. (Nice guy Zack!)
Geoff, Zack and Allan spent 3 nights 'breaking' the film from scratch. Allan had to write the pitch for the studio. It got greenlit. Zack said Allan had to write a treatment next. Allan said he had no time, but Zack said he had to or he'd be calling Shonda Rhimes, so he did. Allan also joked that Zack hyped him so he just had to lmao.
[Basically, Allan writing the script was all by chance because of that one nig

TEAM NEWS
Plenty of notable team news, as you’d expect in these peculiar times. Dele Alli gets a rare start, one of five changes from the 3-0 win over Norwich a fortnight ago. Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele, Emerson Royal and Harry Winks also come in, with Japhet Tanganga, Sergio Reguilon, Lucas Moura, Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg left out
Liverpool are without their entire first-choice midfield, so the teenager Tyler Morton gets his first Premier League start. He was born on 31 October 2002, ten days before James Milner, who also starts today, made his Premier League debut. The three changes in midfield - Morton, Milner and Naby Keita for Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

I was reading Allan Aguire's takeaway post and when he mentioned the weakness of the male cast I struggled to come up with one that is weaker. Battle of the seasons 2 might be close but that season on paper still had Alton and Wes, to go with Frank and Zack. I think this is easily the worst since eliminations began.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!

We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
Ants don’t even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

Alright folks, it's been a very competitive nomination round, but after 400+ entries, countless votes, multiple ties, and several late surges, we've finalized the ballot for the /r/DCcomics Best of 2021 Awards. We selected 5-6 nominees for each category, but some contests were so tight that we had to let in a 7th or even 8th nominee.
The ballot itself will be posted some time tomorrow, when I get around to making it. We'll keep it open for about a week. Until then, feel free to make predictions or use this as a guide to catch up on reading. In January, we'll announce the winners. January's Character of the Month will go to the top vote-getter in the Best New Character category in the nomination thread.
If your favorite creator or book didn't get nominated, well there's only one explanation. Feel free to use the r/dccomicscirclejerk salt thread. Consider using that, instead of harassing me with hate mail (yes, that happened) or making 80+ Google accounts to stuff the ballot box (also happened).
Past years' winners can be found here.
