My brand new yucca plant I brought home yesterday has mealybugs! Wasn’t near any other plants and have isolated it immediately. Sprayed down with bug clear and removed individuals with surgical spirit. What else do I need to do? Feeling like they’ll nestle inside all the little crevices on a yucca 😞
Is this pot size okay for my yucca? I just looked at a bunch of photos online and most people seem to have theirs in smaller pots. New to this plant and love it—I don’t want to overwater!
Any idea on this plant I took in? It's about 3 ft tall and has red spikes along the edges of the leaves that really hurt. The base is about 8-10 inches in diameter and reminds me of a palm. I was weedeating and noticed this piece of yucca wood that I had cut back a while ago and threw into a fire pit, that has since grown over with weeds. Hey everyone! My yucca seems to be rotting from the inside out. I barely water it and the pot has drainage. But it’s top trunk is really soft/smoosh to the touch and it’s leaking liquid where the leaves used to be. The bottom of the trunk is still hard.
