He was the punter for the Atlanta Legends in the spring of 2019, but lost his job when the entire AAF folded. He was cut by the Ravens in 2019, and dropped from the Falcons practice squad last season. He was re-signed by the Falcons last month and won the starting punter job.
Younghoe Koo was an undrafted punter from Georgia Southern in the 2017 NFL draft. He was the Chargers starting kicker for 4 weeks in 2017 before being waived in favor of Nick Novak. He was the kicker for the Atlanta Legends in the spring of 2019, and scored the first points in the history of the AAF, but lost his job when the entire league folded. He was dropped from the Patriots practice squad in 2019, but became the Falcons starting kicker after replacing an injured Matt Bryant in the 2019 season.
Younghoe Koo was dropped in the majority of leagues due to the bye week and a lackluster start for the ATL offense. However, Matt Ryan is looking better and the offense is seeming to click a little better.
Yes, they played the Jets last week but that was still without Ridley and Gage. Is Koo back on your radar as far as kickers go?
Although he disappointed many in the finals with a lackluster performance, he put up solid RB2 numbers most of the season. Can anyone predict what team might get the opportunities like the falcons last year? I am thinking Will Lutz might be the play this year, lackluster offense that will be decent enough to get to FG range but not be able to score TDs.

Younghoe has been an RB1 for some of us.
His value is unmatched by any single player so far this year. I am a firm believer that Koo is a league winner this year, and I mean it. Heβs a bucket from 40+. He is in the perfect situation almost every week and has given me some godly performances.
And Week 10 comes with a heavy burden, a bye week... Koo is now the number 1 scoring kicker according to ESPN.
So brothers, what is the call? Are you dropping Koo? Or will you keep him in his rightful home?
