Ugh! I have no idea what I do wrong. Too much curb, not enough curb. I’ve got the first sector down, but it’s really the section between both DRS zones where things go downhill and then the beginning of sector 3 which IRL does not exist anymore. This circuit feels terrible to drive and I can never get the right setup, though I’ve tried so many specs
From watching the race it looks like the layout changes haven't made a huge difference in the racing here, when someone can hold up another car to the tune of 6s per lap, its not exactly whats desired for an end of season title defining circuit.
It looks like the first 4 corners are too narrow and fast/downforce dependant to easily position for turn 5, then the first straights actually too long, like Tilke looked at Monza sector 1 and thought "let's remake this in the desert" the removal of the 2nd chicane hasn't helped that much. S3 is both too narrow and tight to go side by side, then too fast and narrow to line up passing on the start straight.

Has anyone seen one anywhere? I normally practice on which ever track F1 is racing on next, usually in AC. I managed to get an updated version of Zandvoort before that race but haven't been able to find one for this weekend.
Any news on the modified layout yet? Coming in f1 2022 or an update for f1 2021?
Not only do we get the F2 finale as support for the Abu Dhabi round of the F1 championship, we get an added treat of a bonus round of the F4 UAE championship. They are using this featured event as a premiere of the new Gen2 Tatuus F4 car. With testing prior to the weekend included as part of the calendar. With entries coming from every regional F4 series on a first come first serve basis we will get a rare chance to see many of the future stars of F3 and F2 converge in competition. While many great prospects will attend, the one I'm most excited to see is 15 year-old Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Signed last year to the Mercedes junior program while starring in Karting, he is considered one of his generations top prospects. Despite a bad injury to his braking leg in the World Karting championships at the end of last year he has seemingly recovered. He made the jump to race cars mid season this year and has shown good pace in 3 Italian F4 events so far in 2021. With everyone on equal footing regarding the new F4 car we should see a good representation of abilities. Who else is excited about this event and who are the driver(s) you are looking forward to seeing compete and why?

With the scores tied and Max Verstappen taking the pole position everybody will be on their edge of the seats till the end of the race! I don't want to sit at home and enjoy it alone. I want to feel something like this! Any resto-bars you know where one could catch the screening of this "last dance"?

Curious to hear everyone’s opinions going into the last double header for the 2021 Season.
Ideally I'm looking for the lux measurement and colour temperature. But Ill take whatever info I can get. I'm a armature analogue photographer and want a better idea of what film will work well. I've been able to find a article saying the lighting array aims to put out 1500 lux and was hoping to here from any photographers that have shot at the track how true that is.
For me, it is an okay circuit but not designed for F1 cars. The overtaking zones are few and far between, there’s no excitement and the final race of the season should be an exciting climax, not material to cure even the toughest cases of insomnia
