Hey all,
My grandfather, Col. Walter "Mickey" Moore, was the program director on the X-20 Boeing Dyna-Soar. Unfortunately, he passed away before I was born. I never knew about the program growing up because my father, his son, didn't know much about it either. I assume it was top secret at the time my grandfather was alive, so it makes sense.
I'm becoming really interested in piecing together parts of his life and I was wondering if this community might be able to provide any interesting sources of information that I might be able to read on the topic.
Otherwise, If anyone is interested, I can possibly answer some questions based on the information that I have.
Recently I was lucky enough to attend a live presentation in my home state of Tasmania (in Australia) by Amy Shira Teitel. She did a wonderful presentation on the X-20 Dyna-Soar with other related tid-bits of awesomeness. Here is not only a little snippet of her presentation, but I of course just had to try and manually make a Dyna-Soar...ish prototype with the realism overhaul mods installed.
