A list of puns related to "Wral Tv"
When watching WRAL (via Spectrum) there have been several occasions in the last few days when the broadcast sound goes dead. Seems to happen mostly when a commercial starts, but resumes when the next commercial starts. Anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks.
WRAL, NBC 5, has been added to the DirecTV Now lineup in the Raleigh-Durham TV market (DMA #24). This will probably only help folks in Raleigh (and maybe Wilmington - not sure if WILM got added, as it is an independent station) as Capitol Broadcasting owns 2 stations.
It doesn't appear that Fox 50 (WRAZ, also Capitol) was added to the DTV Now lineup.
I was surprised that this came out (got an email yesterday) when it did, as WRAL has been squabbling with AT&T over UVerse TV packages, and has removed both WRAL and Fox 50.
This will not get us WRAL's new UHD package, as far as I know (for those not in Raleigh, WRAL is broadcasting some programming in UHD. They were the first HD station in the country, broadcasting in 1996, and they have been doing their news in HD since 2000).
So Direct TV is making it easier to become a cord cutter more and more everyday if it wasn't for this contract that I can't wait to be rid of. It turns out they have pulled the plug on these to channels over money. Anyone else a little pissed off over this?
I'm using the Chromecast with Google TV, and when any of the Olympic games that are in 4k HDR the picture is very dim but when I go back into a regular broadcast is nice and vibrant. And I know it's not my tv or my Chromecast because when I use HDR in other apps even regular YouTube it looks great. Has anyone else noticed this?
Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Pilot on me!!
Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as getting into a soccer league at some point, or where to even begin with trying to play soccer.
I have played hockey my entire life ( in my late 20's) and due to a number of unfortunate head injuries my days of playing are quickly coming to an end.
Past number of years I've had an interest in the soccer but being a coach and player my life has revolved around hockey and I've never had a chance to get into soccer. Now I've got that opportunity.
Unfortunately I havnt the slightest clue where to even start with any of this. Is there anywhere in the N ral / Wake forest area to just go and kick a ball around ( I know of the wral park but not sure if that's open to the public to just go and kick a ball around ) , or some form of light pickup that I can get a little more acclimated with the sport and maybe give me some pointers or tips?
Past couple years I've watched some soccer on tv here and there and have a general understanding of the rules and how to play but obviously TV and playing are completely different beasts.
Thanks for reading my novel, and appreciate any and all advice in advance.
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
I won't be doing that today!
