A list of puns related to "William Lewis"
> Suns coach Monty Williams on Patty Mills' spirit: βIf youβre on the other side you want to break his neck. But if you are with him it's like man I love that guy. When I used to compete against the Spurs & he was down there waving that towel I just wanted to go tackle him.β
> Monty Williams on this November schedule (16 games in 30 days) as Suns finish 4-game road trip tonight at Brooklyn: "There's a joy being in the #NBA. I think it would be a lot tougher if you didn't look at it that way, but we have guys who genuinely love to play basketball." >
Iβm watching this episode, and thereβs talk of it being an NYPD conspiracy, and also a consensual fling with Benson, but does the show ever actually clearly state what Lewisβ defense is?
If he claims itβs all a conspiracy, than how does he explain all of Oliviaβs injuries, the dead cop, etc.
If he claims it was all consensual, thereβs still so much damage he caused, and fatalities, that itβs not even a defense at that point.
I kind of get the feeling the writers just wanted to cast reasonable doubt without any sort of actual, tangible, explanation for what Lewis argues actually happened over the four-day spreeβ¦
Just a random shower thought I had.
I mean, with 120-something guns per 100 people in America, such character just seems unrealistic with his torture streaks because through virtues of sheer probability, someone would have definitely shot him in self defense by now. Well, "now" I mean as in the season 15 storyline obviously.
Even the demographics he preys on aren't completely defenseless so with all his manipulations someone would have fired back.
Olivia contemplates torturing him?! She had him and wouldnβt call the police or shoot him? She wouldβve had every right. He held her for four days.
The breakdown over the Elliott stuff was just fucked up. The only solace was the writers finally admitted how fucked up the exit was (he didnβt even come get his stuff?!)
Iβll watch it just to complete my first full start to finish rewatch but this shit is ridiculous and thereβs an hour left.
I hate when itβs the cops getting framed (Cragen, Rollins, Benson, Cassidy). Itβs unrealistic and justβ¦not the best the show can do.
>You know whatβs dangerous about you? Something you make people take risks is you make them want to impress you. You make it so they donβt want to let you down. You have no idea how dangerous you make people to themselves when youβre around.
When Rory Williams said this in Vampires of Venice it was something that always seemed true, look at all the companions and they feel pressured to behave a specific way to never let them down.
Dan Lewis is a unique curve ball here in War of the Sontarans; this was not about trying to please the Doctor. Instead, this was a battle on his home town; this was him taking a stand against the threat that needed to get out of his back yard.
It leaves the question, were there any other cases of companions which were not "doing it for the Doctor" and took a stand in their own right?
Holy Crap! I'm kinda late to the episodes but I just finished watching everything and let me just say Elliot would be livid right now with the squad. He would have killed William Lewis 10 times over if given the opportunity. Poor Liv.
Ever since Stabler has returned, I've seen fans wonder why didn't Stabler know about William Lewis kidnapping and torturing Benson?
I really hope this is a topic for discussion for Organized Crime season 2 because I will hate and be annoyed that it is completely glossed over.
The Elliott Stabler during his seasons on SVU, would had never had allowed Lewis to have gotten as far as he did with torturing Benson.
Anytime i rewatch the series and i get to the William Lewis story line i always feel the need to take a long cold shower in the fetal position.

Second try. Apologies to the mods for not reading the rules first time round. I love what this sub does, and am delighted to have found it. I used to read to my daughter all the time, and since she's flown the coop I feel quite diminished. This was one of her favourites--though occassionally I got too into it and scared her a little.
!
The last time there was a Williams car in the podium was at Azerbaijan 2017, in that podium was Stroll (In a Williams), Ricciardo (Verstappens teammate) and Bottas (Hamiltons teammate)
I get that was a traumatic and nightmare event for her but ever since Lewis shot himself right in front of her, she just hasn't been quite the same. It seems like she's always having some personal thing crop up outside of work in almost every episode or on the verge of a breakdown. All the BS and scumbags she has come across over the years have taken their toll on her. Pablo Schreiber as Lewis was incredible though and played the role of a psychopath very well
I just read this book and found it totally fascinating and eye-opening. I don't know anything about anthropology, rock art, neuroscience, etc, and I'm curious how experts evaluate his conclusions.
