A list of puns related to "William Finley"
These fantastic archives of these prodigious photographers and conservationists show much of the beauty of Oregon back in the day. Some of it's still here; some of it's gone. Klamath Lake is HUUUUUUGE. We have them to thank for some of our wildlife refuges, including the Klamath and Malheur.

shout out to you for repping the state on the documentary lol
I loved the Hulu version
12-team standard
My team:
QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Montee Ball, Andre Ellington, Toby Gerhart
WR: Brandon Marshall, Demaryius Thomas, Golden Tate, Andre Roberts
TE: Kyle Rudolph, Charles Clay
Is this a good trade for me?
I give up Finley, Denarius Moore, and Mikel Leshoure for Gronk and Deangelo Williams. This league is standard scoring. My lineup before is:
Ryan
Foster
Mcfadden
Jones
Green
Finley
Harvin
I don't start Leshoure or Moore as is, so do I make this deal?

Hey guys, right off the bat let's point out that Trent Brown as usual is end game. So if you can put him at RT then you won't need to worry about another card till the game is over. Which given the way the content has been rolling out might just be for another week.
But I digress.
Good players all around of course and here is how they stack up:

I was curious to see who was the best player born on each day of the year. It turned out to be a bit more of a struggle than I thought it was going to be, so I decided to simply sort it by WAR. Does that mean that sometimes a better player got left off the list for a player who simply had a longer career? Absolutely. But WAR is a nice simple stat. So, here's the list!

... keep reading on reddit ➡With Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens off the BBWAA ballot after an excruciating 10 years, I wanted to start a discussion about next year's Veterans' Committee. The committee cycles through different eras each year, and the Today's Game Committee (players that retired between 1988-2007 are eligible) is meeting in December 2022.
Of course, with all the PED players remaining on the ballot, a backlog was created. Because writers are not allowed to vote for more than 10 players, this resulted in deserving down-ballot candidates failing to make headway, or falling off the ballot altogether. It's difficult to get 400+ people to agree on something with a 75% majority, and even more difficult when the choice is non-binary. Take this year's ballot for example: there were 22 players that had legitimate hall of fame cases. In theory, 2 writers could vote for the max of 10, and have completely different ballots. The process was already flawed, but the PED backlog managed to punish the clean players as well.
My fear is that this is going to happen now with the Veteran's Committee. Of course, the backlog and voting process has always been a problem. But the influx of new candidates that would be slam dunk hall of famers otherwise is going to totally create conditions where nobody gets elected. The ballot will only contain 10 candidates (not just players either), and members can only vote for 4 max. It's going to be almost impossible to get them all to agree on which players they feel are the "most" deserving. The problem now is that they're not judging players on merit, but compared to other candidates on the ballot.
By my count, there are 7 players eligible that (in my opinion at least) are slam dunk hall of famers:
*Barry Bonds
*Roger Clemens
*Curt Schilling
*Kenny Lofton
*Rafael Palmeiro
*Mark McGwire
*Sammy Sosa
Another 3 that aren't slam dunk, but well above the line of the average hall of famer at their position:
*Kevin Brown
*David Cone
*Brett Saberhagen
Then you have another 12 that are borderline, but have very good cases:
*Kevin Appier
*Chuck Finley
*Will Clark
*Robin Ventura
*John Olerud
*Orel Hershiser
*David Wells
*Fred McGriff (who will probably be favored by the committee)
*Mark Langston
*Bernie Williams
*Jimmy Key
*Dennis Martinez
There are also non-players that deserve serious consideration:
*Lou Piniella
*Davey Johnson
*George Steinbrenner
*Charlie Manuel
*Joe West
*Bruce Bochy
*Felipe Alo

At least then we wouldn't be left with the travesty of what we got instead.
Now I will say the ToTY nominees are just batshit and clearly EA is picking names out of a hat that like Stephen A. Smith gave them because "he's a smart guy." Honestly the guys were solely based off name recognition. I mean how else can they justify Armstead at LT (8 games all year) Boles (who was the definition of average and ranked lower than Jonah Williams according to PFF) Norwell who was a turnstile or Bulaga who didn't even fucking play this year? It's insane who they chose and an insult to actual good linemen.
ToTY should have gone this way:
