A list of puns related to "William Clay Ford Sr."
It seems like a sidebar worthy event, more so than the current one.
No offense, Don, <3 u
Dont think I need to entail why, I just know the cheerful guy is smilin down on this team today
This might be a question better suited for older fans, but when did it become apparent that the Lions were gonna suck as long as he owned the team? What was the event or series of events that made you realize this?
Edit: I really like these answers. Thanks a lot.
I know this is probably a long shot, but Iβve tried asking everywhere else so I figured Iβd try Reddit. My father was an engineer on the William Clay Ford from 1982 to 1985 before getting a job at Dow Chemical so he could be closer to his family. Sailing was the high point of his life and heβd often reflect fondly on his time in the navy and his time on the Great Lakes. Dad developed Parkinsonβs disease in 1995 and lost the ability to speak clearly around 2007, but he hung in there until this past Christmas when COVID finally took him. Because of COVID we werenβt able to go with his wishes in donating his body to MSU for study, so we had to cremate him and I would very much like to scatter his ashes at his ports of call, but Iβm having a hard time finding any information about this shipβs ports of call. I know Cleveland and Chicago were his two favorites, but beyond that Iβm kind of clueless. So if there is ANYONE out there who could help me, or point me in a direction, I would be eternally grateful.
It was originally named the Bernard F. Dickman Bridge when it was completed in 1967 then renamed the Congressman William L. Clay Sr. Bridge in October 2013.
