I will start by saying I have a pair of posh really comfy wellies, so that isn't a factor.
We do lots of playing in streams and the sea, for which wellies are better.
But they are also really warm, and take up more space in the car.
So which would you take?

I recently discovered The Amazing Devil, and I can't get over how beautiful their most recent album is.
Can anyone recommend mens and womens (for my wife) wellies that are good for reasonable distance walking? UK, I am happy to spend more for quality.
I try to go for a walk every day, usually about 6 miles. Due to the lovely british weather often the paths I use get churned up a lot and get very boggy. I normally wear walking boots but even with gortex ones find they are not waterproof enough (understandably). I have only really used bad cheap wellies when I was a kid and did not walk as far and found that they do not fit well and rub. This is fine for gardening or a light stroll but can anyone recommend good quality, well fitting and waterproof wellies. I have read that Hunters are not worth it and realise that farmers wear wellies all day and don't use Hunter but they don't necessarily walk a lot. Can anyone recommend a good make/brand etc or wellys that hopefully fit like walking boots but are fully waterproof all the way to at least the ankle.
Going deer stalking soon and need to grab myself some new boots, only got a shit pair right now. Any suggestions ?
For me, it's Oshawott. It's an adorable water-type Pokemon, one of my favorites too and wellies would be perfect for it to have fun holding an umbrella and splashing the blue rubber wellies it wears in puddles and squelching in mud on a rainy day.
Of course there are plenty of other Pokemon too and I would love to know which Pokemon you think would be so adorable wearing rain boots/wellies on a very rainy or even muddy day?
Does anyone know of any barefoot friendly wellington boots out there? I have looked at the major barefoot brands and all of their boots seem fine for city walking but I need boots that are going to stand up to the demands of nearly knee deep water or mud, walking on rough tracks or sodden ground and mucking out stables.
Iโve had Le Chameau and Hunter in the past, currently have a pair of Gateway 1s and all of them just kill me with every step after about 5 mins of wearing them so I either take them off (not advisable on ground with sharp stones and farming equipment) or just walk in my flat deck shoes that are the furthest thing from waterproof.

Can anyone suggest Welly boots for a super wide foot child? He's a 5 1/2 extra wide at Clarks and every boots I have for him have to be too long to get his meaty feeties in!
