Me 36/M with my girlfriend 30/F for 2.5 years, we're doing a 1 month moving in trial at her place. It's day 6, and 2 things have already gone wrong.
(I'm still paying for my place as we do this experiment)
So before this temporary move in, the relationship has had ups and downs, and her dumping me 3 or 4 times in the past, and she dumped me a few times within the week or 2 before we even started this... I guess she was getting impatient for it to happen and decided that was the best solution? But I did promise her in a year after being at my first apartment that I'd move in with her. So I'm giving this a month test to see how happy I am and figure out what it would be like living with her.
The first few days or more we didn't even really see each other because I have a day and night job on various days. The day I said I could pack some of my things and move in for a month, we decided to go walking along a path. After arguing how long my first suggesting for a walking path would be, we settled on a path that was around an apartment complex that looked decent and short enough. We couldn't find any parking spots other than areas that said non residents would get towed or fined. I said if we can't park anywhere, we might as well park in any of these for now, we probably wont be gone that long. We were driving her car. She asked that if I would help pay for the fine if we get in trouble, and I said sure. But suddenly we didn't feel comfortable parking there and looked around for other options. I noticed that for some reason thee were like 2 or 3 churches spread around this complex... must be an ultra religious area or something. I suggested we park in one of those areas. I don't think she liked the idea. She parked on the side street, only to say she wanted to go back and park where we originally were with the fine sign. I said this spot right here is perfect, it's not far from the path and there's no fine or towing sign. She didn't like the spot because she said she wouldn't be able to see her car from there. It's a decent neighborhood, she didn't have anything to worry about in my opinion. I said well if that's what you really want, but here we don't have to worry about getting fined. She said, "well you were going to help me pay for the fine if we get it, right?" I said, that was when I thought it was our only option, but now we have a safe bet option. If you really want that spot, it's your call not mine, so it wouldn't make any sense now. She got really upset because I was going back on saying I would help her pay for a ticket that probably wouldn't even happen. I feel like I'm strugglin

Dear Dumb Retailers and associated 'crying poor' billionaires like Gerry Harvey:
This campaign from big retailers is really irritating me. They stock virtually no Australian made anything, after being at the forefront of decimating local manufacturing in the 70s & 80s. NOW they complain Australian retail jobs are at stake and we need to buy locally. But buy what locally? Overseas products? Seriously?
How about recognising the small electronics/book/DVD market has gone global, and re-embracing some local manufacturers- local innovation, bespoke craftsmanship etc. I can't buy that from overseas. Amazon can't be price competitive selling Australian goods back to Australians. Use your insanely large marketing budgets to create demand for interesting local products, instead of your usual loud and annoying lies about 'sales'. You take up 30% of all TV/radio advertising already - you think you're great at marketing already... You might even find that you can become a net exporter to the 7 billion people who live in other countries who might like to buy Australian things from a savvy retailer with a proper attempt at e-tailing.
Don't expect protection from the Australian Government when you lobbied against protection for the manufacturing and textiles industries. Don't expect the Australian Government to prop you up when you still emphasise overseas designed/manufactured goods.
If you only stock products from the top 10 global manufacturers - sorry, your market is already gone. We're all buying online.
Given the issues of simultaneity in relativity, is it really accurate to make statements like "We're seeing the Andromeda Galaxy as it looked 2.5 million years ago," or, "Eta Carinae may have already gone nova thousands of years ago?"
Or, would it be better to think of everything we can observe has happening 'now for us?'
I was thinking about this after seeing a comment on /r/askscience where someone asked if it would be possible to make a 'more accurate' map of what the universe looks like 'right now' by extrapolating where every galaxy X-light-years away would be in X-years, and one of the replies said that didn't really make any sense because of the issues with simultaneity.
Considering the number of extinction level events the Earth has gone through, we're already living in a post-apocalyptic world.
I just had a thought. As you all know, we're getting a Super Saiyan God awoken skill in XV2, so what if Fu helping Bardock out in the new Legendary Pack 2 story missions means that we're getting Super Saiyan God BARDOCK?? Yeah, its a stretch, but why not? We already have SSJ 1, 2 and 3 Bardock.
