As the titles says I have an active sump pump that drains a ton of water when it’s wet out. It probably runs once every 30 minutes on average. Currently it drains to the sidewalk and then goes to the street where it just sits and freezes. It’s a hazard to cars and pedestrians walking by and can damage the road as well. I want to find an alternative place to drain this water. It can’t go into the sanitary sewer and it is definitely too much water to pump directly out into my tiny property.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can remedy this situation and prevent my sump pump water from going to the street or flooding my yard?

Wondering if there is anything we can do here if the neighbor is not prepared to do anything about the noise.
They have an old and extremely noisy water pump that seems to be going off for many hours each day.
Sadly, before buying the house, we didn't hear or know of this issue, which is strange. We visited the house at least 4 times prior to signing, and not once did we hear this pump (video below). Now, since we've bought the house and started moving in, we hear it every day, often for hours on end. We've been to the house 4 times in the past week and in each occasion the pump was either constantly (without stopping) making the noise, or sporadically (on and off) making it.
The noise can be heard down the street, and we've had neighbors come to our house and ask if we are the ones making the noise.
Is there any law or anything we can do to force them to fix or replace this pump? There is literally no room in our house we can go to to escape the noise.
We live in one of those common villages where you pay a monthly charge if it helps - maybe this noise goes against the rules of living in such a village. Who knows.

(Not big news. Building was listed for sale last fall. But finally got a chance to sit down with the owner. He's seen a lot of change downtown since the early '80s...)
When Mike Wied started working full-time at his family's silver restoration and plating business in 1981, the other nearby businesses on downtown's Water Street included a plumber, a print shop, a rooming house and a place that made shoe soles.
Just over 40 years later, Wied is selling the historic building that houses A. Werner Silversmiths Inc., 1241 N. Water St.
It's the last ground-floor business on a two-block stretch of Water Street, between Highland Avenue and Knapp Street, that's not a tavern or restaurant.
Wied saw Water Street evolve into a nightlife area while first working for his father, and then operating the business with his brother.
No trucks reported eaten by the road, but a second water main break now being worked on, westbound lanes closed again.

The water really isn't able to reach that sewer drain on the right because there is a little bump between where the water ends and the grate.
I'm not really sure what my options are since i know this falls under the cities responsibility......but I don't want to die before this gets fixed.
