They recently opened 12+ new miles of trails on top of the previously existing 5ish at Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas. Devil's Racetrack is a challenging but very rewarding 3 and half miles. The rock gardens are some of the techiest I've ridden around here, and the trail gets very narrow along some of the exposed portions, so don't get too distracted by the bluffs when you visit.

We have lost our sense of fairness and security in the Whiteaker. We have rampant theft and assaults happening on a daily basis. This community is going to shit. Take a walk through this park and tell me what you see. Try going there at 3am and watch the roaming thieves coming and goings with backpacks full of the shit they stole from poor people … This has got to end.. Also watch and listen for the enablers who continue to justify this behavior. Look at all the fucking trash in this neighborhood….. We can thank Claire Syrett and the rest of our local government who has allowed the Whiteaker to become a fucking garbage dump. It is deplorable and something needs to be done. No other neighborhood in this city has this kind of activity. Why is the Whiteaker Community Council not addressing any of this with the city and fighting for the rights of the people who live here. Why ? It is really just sad. It really is getting bad for folks who live here… Look at the tents on the tracks and in front of peoples houses. These are not the people who want help they want to continue to be enabled and further the destruction of a once awesome neighborhood …….
Just wanted to relay my vaccine experience at Aqueduct Racetrack. My appt was on 2/22 at 5:15pm but I showed up right before 4pm to try to avoid rush hour. The national guard is who ushers you through all this which was quite a sight! But it was really well set up and I was seen by a nurse and a vaccine rep right away at one of the various stations. They asked me what condition I had that qualified me for the vaccine so I told them. They never asked me for any documentation regarding my condition but I did bring some paperwork from my doctors office (which I never showed them). Then the nurse gave me the shot and I just had to sit in a separate area for 15 mins to make sure I didn’t have a reaction. I also got the CDC vaccine card with my vaccine information on it and the date for my 2nd dose. It was also later emailed to me. That night, I felt a bit hot and sleepy but nothing too crazy. My arm has also been a little sore since but not that noticeable. The next day, I had a long workday scheduled so I was afraid I was going to feel terrible, but I preemptively took ibuprofen and just felt a little hot at times. Anyways, that’s my story! Trevin Cole Powell appears to have been arrested at least 12 times in Lane county for crimes including 1st Degree Kidnapping, 1st Degree Burglary, 1st & 2nd Degree Robbery, Criminal Trespass, lots and lots of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and parole violations.
