I have thunder cleaver on my Kallari build because it is useful on her and gives her some burst. But you don't actually need it to de-ward. You don't even need to use your own wards to de-ward, the trick is to get really close to the ward you wanna remove, throw a knife and immediately auto attack it. Ez pz. Some of you might already know this trick but I'm putting it out there for all the Kallari lovers.

Best vision champion?

By vision I mean like information gathering mostly, information is king after all. I played a lot of heroes of the storm, and one of the few support heroes I loved was Medivh. His passive ability allowed him to transform into a raven and scout the battlefield untargetable to all but towers. He had a great portal ability to assist to getting teammates out of situations and an amazing shield that healed based on how much damage the shield took. The ult even placed enemies in stasis so hitting just a few rendered them unable to help their team. I loved his kit and the ability to get information on the enemy team for my team, sort of a roaming support. Any champs that can give me this sort of feel? I really want to play more then just jungle and mid lane, and support is a role I always look to.

Aghanim's Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum: A very long post about general tips and tricks for beginners and experienced players. Everything I've learned after too many games.

Fair warning, this is a long post.

I've played a fair bit of the new Aghs Lab since it came out, mostly on Magician because higher difficulties start relying more and more on dedicated picks/builds and cheesing bosses or abusing exploits. Magician is not so easy that you always win while also allowing you to try any hero with any specific build, which for me is the most fun. Here are my general tips and tricks that I've learned.

Beginner tips:

  • Generally, Elite Shards > Money > Lives > Neutrals. Neutrals at the start are pretty bad but in the third area are pretty good so you can grab them over money or lives if you want.
  • You have a Bottle that doesn't break on taking damage. Each room replenishes a charge, so if you are maxed you can always use one charge per room freely.
  • Trap rooms are mental games more than mechanical tests. If you psyche yourself out you will get killed. Take it slow, let people go one at a time, and wait a moment before each trap to learn the pattern. Don't panic, panic is your enemy.
  • Trap rooms always give Elite shards, you should probably always choose trap rooms every time.
  • In trap rooms, you get skills with limited charges. The 3 important ones are the hookshot, butchers hook, and the shield. Hookshot allows someone to hook themselves towards someone else, while butchers hook is pudge hook. Both of these allow someone to essentially skip the entire room. It is almost always best to skip to the end, don't use them to skip halfway into the room. This usually confuses people or puts 2 people in a problematic position where someone has to take damage to move onwards. Shield is important because it can be applied to an ally and it has 2 charges, so the hardest part of a trap room can be skipped using shield for 2 people.
  • Most bosses and enemies have high armor with no magic resist. For this reason magic damage focused heroes and builds are easier. To get physical damage builds to work you should try get lots of armor shred if possible.
  • Octarine and Spell Prism/Quickening Charm don't stack the CDR, this is not an Aghs Lab thing, it's a latest patch thing.
  • For the first minigame (Driving the Penguins, Munching the Mangoes, or Pudge fishing), 4k gold seems to be the average to expect.
  • For the second minigame (Hoodwink boomerangs or Ogre slamming), 10k is average although a Radiance can push the Ogres to ~15k.
  • People will say to save the books of experience until the end. I've found this to be pointless. Usin

Zeri Primer Guide (Quick Guide to understanding her before release)

I may update/make a new post after release.

As with most new champions nowadays (or maybe just Riot August champions), there's a lot of excitement and confusion as they tend to introduce unique mechanics. Zeri is definitely someone that inherently has a lot of non-obvious stuff going on in her kit, so this primer will explain as much as I can succinctly. The goal is to get newcomers up to speed quickly for when she releases, but is not meant to be a full on guide as builds (items, runes, etc.) in general take a while to figure out.

#Abilities/Kit

Passive - Living Battery:

  • If Zeri damages a shield, she will shield herself for 60% post mitigation damage dealt to the shield, for 3 seconds. Each instance of shielding herself has independent duration - meaning you want infinite shields, you'll have to keep damaging shields.

  • Zeri also receives bonus 10% Movement speed for 3 seconds when she receives a shield from any source. This means not only from her passive, but also allies shielding her as well as items.

Auto attack mechanics:

  • Zeri generates static charge by moving around, as well as casting Q. This is represented as another bar underneath her mana bar, and basically is the same behaviour as charging up Energized attacks.

  • Zeri does NOT behave like any other champion. She generally does not auto attack with right clicks (that's her Q). Instead, her right click is now basically a targeted spell.

  • When Zeri right clicks someone, she zaps them. If her juice bar is full, she will consume the entire bar to deal % health damage and slow the target significantly. Otherwise, if the bar is partially filled, she will consume a small amount and deal far less damage, though this damage is increased when the target is below 35% health.

  • The increased damaged to low health targets makes it handy to supplement farming creeps that would normally be hard to hit with Q.

  • Acts as a spell and therefore can proc stuff that normally an ability cast would but an auto attack doesn't.

  • Just like spells, you must right click targets again to 'cast' the attack again. If you right click a target once, she will just stand there after the cast.

  • Zeri has a maximum attack speed cap of 1.5 attacks a second, which affects both her Q and right click frequency. Attack speed from her ultimate can exceed this.

Q - Burst Fire:

  • Basically an Ezreal Q with complexities. Zeri starts the game with her first point already leveled into Q.

  • Fires a salvo of

Today is a Good Day to Remember Jim Bob Duggar is Already a Criminal

Today is a good day to remember that Jim Bob Duggar is already a criminal.

After dodging subpoenas pedophile enabler Jim Bob Duggar was brought to the stand yesterday and he said under oath about his daughters being molested that he β€œCant remember” the details. Think about that for a second. Think about being a young woman and the most traumatic thing that could ever happen to you happens- you are sexually molested in your sleep. Who will protect you? No one if your dad is Jim Bob Duggar. The molestor continues to live down the hall from you, your nightmares have all come true. And the person who is supposed to protect you won’t do anything. Your trauma means nothing to him. And when asked about it later under oath like he was yesterday, he said he β€œCant remember.” The person parading around as this generations Christian Ward Cleaver, the faΓ§ade of a man won’t protect you or back you up or believe your story, his default is to enable the pedophiles.

All of this is tragic. Its very, very tragic. But there is also an illegal element as well. Jim Bob Duggar lied on the stand yesterday. This is perjury. He knows exactly what happened. He has been committing crimes in this case all along. Here is the video of Mr. Duggar speaking to Fox New’s Megan Kelly In this video Jim Bob Duggar is admitting to a criminal offense. He seems very clear remembering the molestations of his daughter on this interview. And now he wants us to believe that as of yesterday he has forgotten everything that happened. He forgot what happened in the MOLESTATION OF HIS OWN DAUGHTERS? Fuck that shit. Jim Bob Duggar is a criminal. Not by my conjecture, by his own admission.

So what do know happened? We know that in 2002, Josh Duggar, then 15 at the time, snuck into his sister’s rooms and sexually molested an eight year old girl. Is this a crime? Yes. 100%. Was this reported? No. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar both knew about this crime and did not report it, by their own admission. They never reported the sexual abuse for over a year. According to Arkansas Code Title 12. Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, and Military Affairs Β§ 12-18-103 Jim Bob Duggar di

Senna's great. You just need to tailor your build

I love Senna, and I really like how many options you have in your builds. There's so much confusion about what the best items are, but the answer is it completely depends on your and your enemies team compositions. Here's my take:

Against assassins: Frostfire, edge of night
Against tanks: Divine sunderer, Black Cleaver
Against squishies: Eclipse, lethality
If your team is full of bruisers/tanks: Moonstone, Umbral

The rest of the build is dependant - they have heals? Chempunk chainsword. They have lots of shields? Serpants fang. Against a normal comp I love the mythic/black cleaver/wits end combo.

Runes I take fleet footwork, ingenius hunter and zombie ward. If divine sunderer I go resolve secondary since DS CD is already super low. Moonstone I'll take aery. I'm getting fantastic results from mixing it up

One of if not 1st Garen "Otp" too reach 1k lp challenger! AMA plus mini-guide

Hey everyone! I have reached and smashed 1000 lp challenger by nearly one tricking garen too it for s11 (nearly 1300 now). I did make a similar post when I first hit challenger in garen mains, but I wanted to show that this champ is playable in challenger and made it a goal to hit 1k before posting elsewhere. This is also the highest I have ever been compared to previous years and decided to write about it. Here is my op.gg for reference. I am SΓΊnlight - Summoner Stats - League of Legends (op.gg)

A little about myself, I started in playing in season 3 where I have begun to try every role until finally landing on top in season 5. Actually, maining Darius before I finally switched over in season 8 to Garen. Since then I have been playing him every since even pulling him out in collegiate play as the Michigan State University A team toplaner, being the first one ever to pick garen on that stage (wasn't the greatest performance xd). Finally, here after getting to 1k challenger lp (almost 1300) I don't see a reason to pursue pro or full-time streaming at this point so I think this will be my last seasons that I take "competitively." I hope that you readers can get a little knowledge from this post or ask me any questions concerning Garen/the game really.

I want to go more in depth on the champ, when is it good pick, what too build, runes, etc. I brushed over these a little in my previous post, but this time I want to give more insight on it. Now before I go any further into this post I want to clarify a couple things.

  1. This post isn't about which way to play is right or wrong. Everyone has their own playstyle and you just have to find what works for you. Riste likes mid Garen with predator a ton more than top, Myw the king likes a weird proxy hextech flash stratetgy. There's a bunch of styles to play the game/Garen, so my way isn't the end all be all of playing. I am human too!
  2. I don't want to get into the semantics of every minute detail. I don't need people coming in crunching numbers on everyone say, "WELL STATISTICALLY THIS IS BETTER!" That is not the purpose of this post.
  3. The Purpose of this post is to show how I play Garen, my success with my playstyle, and explain my reasoning as to why I play him as such.
  4. Lastly, there are no stupid questions! I am newbie friendly person comparatively to other high elo players I know. I want everyone in League to be able to learn

My Aery Build for Senna Support - Preseason 2022

Ingame: Tru Chỉ Cai

Hi everyone! Im Zec. In case u may not know. Im the one who created this post exactly 1 year ago. Last season, I achieved rank Master with 99 matches playing as Senna (yes she is the champ I played most in season 11 / ~400 matches i played). Im from Vietnamese Sever.

It was a tough year with pandemic coronavirus in my country. Everything was locked down, and i had to stay at my company, live and work in there so i didnt have much time for playing League (actually i tried Wildrift and its was super fun! my girl Senna on there thats why ^^)... Thank god covid had overcome and i think this is a good time to update my last build and share it with u guys <3

https://twitter.com/RiotAugust/status/1465466544079597575?s=20

Why is Summon Aery on Senna? I explained it in great detail last post. But in summary: Aery with Scorch + Biscuit on Inspiration tree make your laning phase super strong. Aery ratio with AD is goooood. And Senna can easily proc Aery with her Q E and R.

Riot had tweak and nerf many other play style of Senna (the rune, adjustment and nerf on her core items, nerf for range, her passive...). But they never touch this build (maybe they also buff it a bit on Q ratio heal on AP + lethality, R AP ratio damage, E movespeed AP ratio as i remmember. Many items in my list have been decrease the price over patch too). So .. Why not give it a try? ;)

RUNES

Most matchups: other Enchanters (Lulu, Yuumi, Janna...), Poke champ (Zyra, Xerath, Karma...) , Warden (Braum, Tahm, Taric...)

This is the best one i always follow. U dont run out of mana early game with Manaflow and Biscuit. Your poke is incredible strong (Q-AA combo or just laning a nice W may harass enemy so much - playing around Scorch cooldown), heal from Q and Biscuit make your life more easier. A free boots will help u income to reach another items faster.

Littleclaw, the huntstower (link to map in post)

This is an adventure of 1-2 sessions for lower level PCs. It may take longer depending on your group etc. It formed part of the beginning of a campaign we have been running for nearly two years now. I have tried putting my notes into an intelligible form for others, hopefully it works for you. The Map I have drawn for this scenario is available on my site here. There are versions with and without the room key.

Description

The wind whips up as distant shapes duck behind low clouds. In the distance, an ill-maintained guard tower sits atop a bleak looking hill with rocky sides. A small courtyard appears to house a couple of small buildings. Several stories high, the tower likely gives a good view of the surrounding countryside, forest and the foothills of the mountains. Like the town of Gallow, the tower displays slabs of red marble and elements of ancient dwarven and goblin workmanship. However, some aspects appear to be more recent repair work. A disgusting odor of pelt tanning drifts on the breeze and a stray dog traverses the nearby landscape.

Scene Colouring

Broken and decaying stonework crudely repaired, the smell of animal products and cured skins, a strange calmness

Recent Events

After petitioning the Lord of Gallow, members of the Brotherhood of the Claw obtained a writ to occupy an abandoned watch tower. From there, they hunted out into the mountains to capture Hippogriff eggs to trade back in Stok. Hippogriff eggs are worth a princely sum and Gallow saw some of that in tax. The Hunters didn’t realise the tower remained abandoned for a reason. An unsettling feeling permeated from the cellar, so they spent little time there. Sealed inside a hidden escape tunnel was a stash of ancient void eggs. The hunters sold one of these in town after misidentifying it. After changing hands several times, the egg was acquired by the traitorous High-Priest of Gallow Bondur Azkramund. He then passed the information to his master the Troglodyte sorcerer Url-Kass.

Several huntsmen had already been corrupted by Bondur and they betrayed their own with glee when asked. After waiting for some of the hunters to leave on a hunt, the traitors dispatched the watch. A troglodyte force then struck in a night raid, killing many of the huntsmen and dragging off some of the survivors. At the head of the attack force was Url-Kass himself, a huge scaled Troglodyte carrying a

Irony is the voice of the trapped who have come to enjoy their cage

>"Irony has only emergency use. Carried over time, it is the voice of the trapped who have come to enjoy their cage. This is why it is so tiresome. People who have found a route to power based on their misery - who don't want to give it up though it would free them - they become ironic."

-Lewis Hyde from "Alcohol and Poetry"

David Foster Wallace on irony:

>"Irony and cynicism were just what the U.S. hypocrisy of the fifties and sixties called for. That’s what made the early postmodernists great artists. The great thing about irony is that it splits things apart, gets up above them so we can see the flaws and hypocrisies and duplicates. The virtuous always triumph? Ward Cleaver is the prototypical fifties father? 'Sure.' Sarcasm, parody, absurdism and irony are great ways to strip off stuff’s mask and show the unpleasant reality behind it. The problem is that once the rules of art are debunked, and once the unpleasant realities the irony diagnoses are revealed and diagnosed, then what do we do?

>Irony is useful for debunking illusions, but most of the illusion-debunking in the U.S. has now been done and redone. Once everybody knows that equality of opportunity is bunk and Mike Brady’s bunk and Just Say No is bunk, now what do we do? All we seem to want to do is keep ridiculing the stuff. Postmodern irony and cynicism’s become an end in itself, a measure of hip sophistication and literary savvy. Few artists dare to try to talk about ways of working toward redeeming what’s wrong, because they’ll look sentimental and naive to all the weary ironists. Irony’s gone from liberating to enslaving. There’s some great essay somewhere that has a line about irony being the song of the prisoner who’s come to love his cage. ... Anyone with the heretical gall to ask an ironist what he actually stands for ends up looking like a hysteric or a prig. And herein lies the oppressiveness of institutionalized irony, the too-successful rebel: the ability to interdict the question without attending to its content is tyranny. It is the new junta, using the very tool that exposed its enemy to insulate itself."

Some of you still have a chance to find god and repent. You don't have to and shouldn’t become one of those "let people enjoy things" people, but you can be better. Reject irony. Return to sincere posting.

Why Urgot is so well disigned:

Urgot is not a simple champion. He is easy to pick up, but his abilies have so many small details and interactions, you dont notice when you start playing him.

All his abilities complement each other perfect, he is like a well designed battle machine.

  1. His Q is a nice utility tool, at max rank it slows for 65% for 1.5s. But its harmony with W is incredible. It locks his machine gun onto the target. And the slow is important, becouse his W takes away movement speed from Urgot.
  2. His W is unique. It focusses locked-on champions or the nearest enemy. With Q and R you can lock onto an enemy champion. It takes a fixed amount of movement speed from Urgot, but gives him slow resistance. It applies on-hit effect 3 times in a second (but only 50% of their normal dmg). It stacks runes and black cleaver. It harmonizes with the slows from Q and R but even more with his Passive.
  3. His Passive scales with levels, at level 13 they have a cooldown of 2.5 seconds per leg. At level 15 it deals 100% of his ad and from level 13 on it deals 6% max hp dmg, per leg! It doesnt activate on wards. And of course W applies the passive. Not to mention that his passive is an AOE-attack!
  4. One of Urgots hard mechanics is to toggle W on and off and weave in auto attacks; you keep W on for 3 shots, toggle it off, auto attack and turn W on again. As fast as possible. It has the potential to double his dps.
  5. Also you can use W while using other abilities. His W other than Passive is calculated into life steal.
  6. So now we talked about how his Q, W and Passive fit togheter. But his E. Your legs are around you. In a fight you want to unload your passive as often as you can. If you run in a circle you can hit 3 passives, than E through the enemy champ and hit the others. Sometimes when i am in a close 1 v 1, when i have ult on the enemy, but i am low hp, i flash on the others side of the champion to hit the passive and then pull them in.
  7. His E can be combined with flash for a surprise attack.
  8. If you hit E, you can easily hit your ult on the stunned target.
  9. So in summary: Every ability has a reason. It synergizes with at least 2 other abilites. And the grinder on his ult is just crazy. It can turn around teamfights when you flash in and the enemy team runs away scared while you unload W and tons of AEO dmg on them.
  10. Very very good champion. I love him.
