I would point this first and foremost , Naruto isn't the same dumbfuck as he was in canon , sasuke alleges that removing chakra from every active ninja and in the process killing them would atleast make the next-gen have some semblance of peace Naruto doesn't consent to genocide , they agree on suppressing everyone's chakra with the juubi's power suppressed to such an extent that no one can even feel chakra anymore , basic seals that use chakra can't be even triggered anymore , Naruto and sasuke become hated , the economy collapses , thousands of ninja trained till that point are jobless , no better than common bandits and mercenaries , the bijuu made themselves obscure , Naruto and sasuke were hated but everyone else is power less to do anything , knowledge of jutsu and libraries are burned down , you can then make leave Naruto and sasuke to be. Hoping that the world will pull itself together and become civilised or form a secret organization [ insert indoctrination cult] who make sure that chakra won't be discovered again by mankind these guys are given the ability to use chakra to a limited extent more powerful than the common mercenary but nowhere near as powerful as the ninja's of old were , can be an interesting fic following the political fallout and Naruto and to a limited extent sasuke having to deal with being hated by everyone ( they don't go back to konoha obv.) , The economic collapse , the start of Naruto/sasuke's org. (Cult) , people overthrowing daimyo's before in the absence of the ninja they can become too powerfull. I have a lot of ideas about this will help if anyone can make this into a fic. edit :
