I'm making my way through the early episodes of Season 3 for the first time and I'm finding this hilarious. Did anybody else enjoy this as much as me? First, Dan Margolis climbs out of his pool in his birthday suit, slapping water off his ass, and then Charles Sr. derobes to dangle some old man brain (and what a power move for someone that age, haha), and both times Brian acts like he's just been violated.
I'm not sure why I'm enjoying him seeing him knocked off his game so much. Chuck has talked to Brian about his anger a couple of times throughout the seasons. Early Connerty had more of a righteous anger, and now he seems to be angling more toward revenge or payback. Chuck is no saint, but their early mentor/mentee dynamic had so much potential and strength behind it. I'm a little disappointed to see them diverge as much as they have but it's nice to see Brian have to deal with some unexpected weaknesses in his game.
It's still early in the season too. I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence he saw two random dongs, but also trying to guess who might be the next one to drop trou. Bobby already nuded up in front of Wendy so we know he's not shy, and Wags would probably get off on it (see the tits in the steambath scene, though the interaction between him and Connerty directly seems less likely).
Anyway, no spoilers please, but anybody else enjoy this? Any other favorite little S1/S2 scenes that just made you giggle like this?
