BBC Walking With Beasts "Evolution" game info?
I'm a game developer, and I made a remake of the old BBC Walking With Dinosaurs Big Al browser game a while back. I've had a request to remake another old BBC browser game called "Evolution", which was based on Walking With Beasts.
The original game has vanished much like the Big Al game did, and there isn't a lot of information about it online - a short wiki page, a capture of the BBC page in the wayback machine, and a couple of blog/forum posts. Apparently the player would start out as a prehistoric monkey, finding food and dealing with predators, and would gradually evolve into other forms based on their actions.
Does anyone remember the game and any details about how it worked? What enemies you could encounter, what forms you could become?

Randomly bumped into this beast while walking down a quiet side street in Kyoto, Japan. 1/350 S208 with NBR package and Cool Grey Khaki paint.
Was waiting in line for the Red Rose Tavern yesterday when Belle and Beast noticed my husband and I were Disneybounding as them. They stopped to say hi and the CM walking with them offered to take a photo even though they weren't supposed to stop. A little magic made my heart so happy :)

The original is my favorite episode and an outstanding piece both visually and narratively. Nevertheless, accuracy would demand three big changes: 1) Gastornis was a fruit eater, not a predator; 2) Ambulocetus lived in South Asia, not Europe; and 3) Godinotia was a lemur, not a monkey. The last seems a small thing, but the fact that Godinotia and Apidium from the following episode look identical ruins the effort made in giving them different CGI models and damages the portrayal of primate evolution in both the show and the following special “The Beasts Within”.

Like with WWD, stuff about dinosaurs being on decline and mammals being so much advanced than reptiles may be toned down a bit because the biggest predators in this forest are still reptiles. The big bad is changed from Gastornis to Bergisuchus, a dog-sized terrestrial crocodile. In the prologue, Bergisuchus pursues Leptictidium to her den and its identity is more of a mystery. Something bigger and meaner and reptilian is pursuing Leptictidium, but it’s not clear what. After Leptictidium jumps inside, we see Bergisuchus’s eye from the inside, then its theropod-like teeth, just like the T. rex was shown from inside the car in Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs are gone, but their spirit lingers.

in 2004 the BBC put out a "walking with" style series called Monster we Met about early man's interactions with megafauna. the CGI is much worse than Walking with Beasts despite being 3 years newer. I'm having trouble imagining why that might be?
I assume it's a budget issue by why would paying the animators less effect how well there graphic systems can convincingly render fur?

The Super Soaker Monster XL, I remember losing balance just trying to walk with this beast it was so heavy. I'm pretty sure it even came with a stand to make it easier to use for kids. This bamf pretty much immobilized you in a water fight but had a distance if like 20ft.
