ok so there's a joke amongst starlight (vixx fans) that vixx constantly go viral every other month for the same four things so here's a list of vixx moments guaranteed to get clout on social media:

• hyuk screaming when he got abandoned at a gas station at the age of 17
• the "love slave" contracts that came as a chained up album inclusion
• chained up as an era in general bc haha bdsm song
• vixx's vibrating lightstick + hakyeon telling starlight to "enjoy" the feature + the lightstick coming with an instruction manual that included a drawing of someone going to bed with the lightstick
• the time they were kidnapped in kazakhstan by the president's daughter

it just constantly blows my mind that vixx, a group that have been on hiatus since 2019 and haven't released an album since 2018, never fail to reenter the public's consciousness. it's impressive that there are so many iconic and distinct moments that are associated with them — this knowledge is also so widespread that even if you don't listen to vixx, i'm 100% sure you're aware of at least one moment in the list i compiled. i saw them trending on twitter at least ten times in the month of december for just existing (they ranked #22 in boy group brand reputation rankings for both dec and january!!) and that honestly makes me so happy, i really hope we get to see them make music as a group again in the near future.

some other iconic vixx moments i love but it gets more incomprehensible as you go down:

• this cover of girls day's something
• that time vixx celebrated the birthday of our lord and saviour jesus christ with a christmas themed dance practice of chained up
• ken's favourite actress is usher
• their cover of wonder girls' so hot that they did on national television in full drag
• i need therapy lalala therapy
• this concert vcr that singlehandedly got me to stan hongbin
• vixx constantly shit on this specific hyde mubank stage but honestly it was so ahead of its time and they pulled off the black lipstick quite well imo
• this performance of fantasy aka the weirdest yet best concert video u will ever watch
• that time hakyeon went on a tv show

I've been a big fan of VIXX since 2016 and unfortunately never had the opportunity to buy any of their albums or merchandise. I know I can buy some on Amazon but I wanted to see if anyone on here was selling any Vixx.

i’ve been getting into vixx but i think it is the complete wrong time.

ravi went on studio kizzle, he had to convince the children that he is a celebrity, but he never mentioned vixx at all.

jellyfish has verivery so i get vixx might not be prioritised, and it doesn’t help that hongbin left/kicked out

the members have their own projects as well, (dramas, solos etc.) so it feels we won’t get anything as a group, even after enlistments

So the title. I heard Ravi once be referred to kpop’s Nicolas Cage and though I'm halfway convinced that it's because of the way he looks I've also been extremely fascinated by the phrase dogged by it if you will.

I mean this as the highest compliment if he is btw. Nicholas Cage is one of my favourite actors and I love him serious campy in shitty straight to DVD movies and so on. If Ravi is in fact kpop’s Nicolas Cage he might be the best?

Is it because of his solo music? Is it because of the wild energy he puts into everything he does? Is it because of his memes? I don't know I'm not a Starlight at all but i need to know.
