A list of puns related to "Vito Spatafore"
I am hoping to clear up any ambiguity surrounding my late patient
Edit: thank you all for your questions. I hope that I was able to answer any questions surrounding Mr. Spataforeβs condition and behavior as a result of using his medication.
I am aware that he was loved by many. I wish you all a happy holiday. Stay safe
Whadda ya hear, whadda ya say? Pod Yourself a Gun has an interview with the only Soprano's character that is gay!
Thought you all might be interested to give it a listen since he's one of the few who Talking Soprano's didn't get on.
I work hard all day to make these threads and posts for this board. 136,000 members, big screen reviews, memes on the boards. AND FOR WHAT? TO COME HOME TO A 3 DAY BAN?
There's a lot more where that came from! We're starting a new regime around here.
What do you think he meant by this line in S6A E03 Mayham? He was retorting to Paulie saying βHo, ladiesβ roomβs next doorβ
Never understood what the hell that line meant. But maybe Vito was grasping at straws since his masculinity was questioned (not for the last time).
Anyway, it breaks half and half.
Itβs a shame he never took up Baseball, he wouldβve been a great catcher
... and Corrado Soprano.
How much betrayal can I take?
Rewatching Sopranos and in S1E8 The Legend of Tennessee Moltisanti, Christopher feels disrespected at the bakery. A guy walks in and cuts in line. I thought βthat sure like like Vitoβ. Sure enough, itβs him. Heβs credited as βbakery customerβ only though.
Thought it was odd and interesting at the same time.
If Bobby and Vito got into a fight like he and Tony did in Soprano Home Movies, do you think Bobby would still walk away victorious? Frankly I donβt think Vito stands a chance. But what do I know? Quasimodo predicted all of thisβ¦
To the victor, belongs the spoils
Itβs a shame his blood pressure medication messed with his head, wonder why Phil wouldnβt accept his Doctorβs Note
that whole scene always kills me. Murmur either had some serious balls or was a total buffoon to think that was a good idea. To slander a fuckin captain! And in front of everybody! Seriously though imagine being kind of a not so well known hang around, your decent friends with one low ranking made guy and youβve MET, not became well known too or friends with, youβve met some of the other mobsters once or twice. And then you run up to a captain, the consigliere, the BOSS of all people, and 3 soldiers who been around longer than the moon and loudly without any prior context announce that a made guy, a captain, a strong earlier is a βAss muncher!β. Itβs not even like he ran up to them like βhey this guy told me he saw Vito at a fag bar, thought you should knowβ just now context runs up and yells heβs a ass muncher. He could had so easily gotten beat I mean I feel like realistically he probably would had. Murmur struck me as a guy who wanted to be buddy buddy with some mobsters and thought that would score him points
Literally the only reason he wasnβt beat on the spot and was allowed to speak is because before anyone could touch him Chris vouched for what he said and provided context
Seriously. When he accuses Tony of being butt buddies with his deceased father, that took nerves of steel. In another act of defiance, He disrespected Phil Leonardo in public, and questioned his knowledge of Siloβs vs Sundaes. I canβt imagine AJ ever having the cajoles to go up against an authority figure, He would cave right away. If you ask me, itβs because AJβs stupid and jealous. Anyways, I said my piece.
When heβs βcomfortingβ Vitos wife, a video of greased up body builders comes on as heβs saying βyou canβt dwell on that,β and when he sees it he says βturn that shit off,β in disgust.
We all know David Chase is super purposeful, itβs hard to imagine him creating a scene where Phil is consoling Vitos wife about Vito dying in a homosexual encounter, him saying the words βyou cant dwell on that,β then getting pissed at the hot sexy oily dudes on tv, and it not be intentional. Itβs clear his homophobia is a manifestation of his own sexual proclivity towards men after spending 20 years βin the can.β The fuckin fanoik.
If a made man was a closet homosexual, would the mafia look down upon this and kill him? How seriously would they take this? I have no problem with anyone no matter what their sexual orientation but I'm wondering how the mob would view this?
Vito Spatafore met at Hackensack Stop with Terry Doria (the same guy that was sent by Tony to visit Vito and bring him with the guys back for questioning). Guy wasn't completely honest with Vito (it was clear), saying that he needed 20k for "child support payments". The guy proposed 2 points, and after Vito ramped it up to 2,5 points he didn't mind really whilst most of the mob guys like to argue a lot about shit like that.
The next scene we saw Vito in was getting clubbed to death at the motel, and the next scene we see Terry Doria at was at the Satriale's, the crew commenting on Vito's death and saying that they wish they borrowed money from him. Terry smirks with his back turned to them whilst making some gravy.
The theory is that Terry Doria met up with Vito at the motel to get the cash, and afterwards phoned in to NY mob the location of Vito. And that's that.
Which episode did Vito say, βwith all due respect Iβm willing to die for a good causeβ?
Every time I see her on screen she sounds like sheβs whining, depressed and annoying even when asking if her Cousin Phil wants coffee prior to Vito coming out of the closet too she sounds miserable lmaooooo she still wants Vito after knowing itβs confirmed heβs gay
βthereβs confirmation thru the grapevine Vito was seen in a car with a manβ Lmaoooo βCaptain of what?β βThe good ship lollipop pop?!β βThe man was a fuckin disgrace!β ππππππLmaooooooo Philβs hilarious!!!
HOOOOOO!!!!
The two murders Vito commits on screen (Jackie Jr. and the civilian he crashes into on the road from New Hampshire) are done similarly: shot to the head from behind while walking. Both victims were also entirely unsuspecting. Could be seen as a random coincidence but also as indicative of his character traits (sneaky and secretive).
I just ran into the actor who plays Vito in public today, and I've fiending for a good episode with Vito. Any suggestions?
I gotta go try and take a shit.
Did he do crime and stuff? I kind of remember him hanging around. Even being in the backroom and shit? Was he an associate? Was he ever seen after Chris died?
Am I high? The Vito Spatafore storyline during season 6 almost ruins the season for me. One episode? Sure. But six episodes revolving around a character we donβt know well enough to love or hate or care about beyond his direct interaction with major characters is a radical departure from seasons 1-5 where every minute is riveting. And while it was refreshing to see writers address homosexuality in a mob context, I simply couldnβt suspend disbelief or understand why Chase chose to focus so much time on a minor character and his lover.
Donβt get me wrong, season six is still good television. The finale is staggering genius and Gannascoli turns in some powerful performances. But overall, Season 6 seems to pale in comparison to iconic, groundbreaking, laser-focused storytelling found in seasons 1-5.
In Season: 6, Ep: 11 the clues are all there. Listen to Phil's words and thoughts throughout, the BIGGEST clue is that Phil actually, literally, comes out of the closet, to watch Vito get killed. Later in the episode there were male body builders on the TV and Phil tells his underling to turn that shit off. Writers give a more subtle hint when Phil takes his pants off showing that his wife literally wears the pants in the household. There's more if you don't agree.
One of my favorite lines of the entire series.
Meadow's reaction to finding out her boyfriend saw a capo blowing another guy.
Season 6 Episode 1- He asks for hot water with lemon. He also eats a hot dog without the bun at Bada Bing. He also comments about Agent Harris being on the Atkins.
Don't get me wrong, I got no problem with the "fanooks" in this day and age, I'm just curious as to why they would go to all that trouble. The bj at the construction site, the whole thing with Finn, the leather daddy outfit, the biker boyfriend, the embarrassment to his family, the final humiliation of the pool cue up his ass... Etc. Any thoughts?
Salut!
So i'm aware this is a lingering subtext in the series, that Phil Leatardo is a closet homosexual, due to his treatment of Vito. But I thought this scene was quite telling wherein Vito initially goes on the lam and has a call from Phil Leatardo, was something going on there?

How was your experience with the tough love camp?
Who's the unluckiest character on the show? For me it's Rosalie Aprile with all the death around her.
