A list of puns related to "Vision After The Sermon"
I am planing on a Lasik procedure, but am unsure if it matters if I do it before HRT or after a year or so? The lasik center did not have an answer to how hormones affect vision.
Hello I am wondering if anyone knows how concerned I should be about my right eye vision as it is still significantly worse than post operation after 3 months. My left eye is back to what is was before about 1 1/2 months after operation which is causing me great concern for my right eye.
Then, everyone around me started getting sick and growing tumors...
Just then one of the mourners burst into laughter. The guy next to him asked: "Why are you laughing?" "I was thinking about my own funeral" the man replied. "What's so funny about that?" "I'm a gynecologist."

I ask you only one thing: stay as close to the Church as possible, participate in the Divine Liturgy, bring diligent repentance, confess with your spiritual father to receive the blessing for Communion, and partake as often as possible.
We have entered into a very difficult years. Apocalyptic years. Many saints wanted to live at this time, because the saints did not seek an easy path, but chose the harder one. Unlike us, fearful and cowardly people of the 20th and 21st centuries, who are accustomed to the comfort and conveniences of godless Europe!
But now that difficult times have come (and these difficulties will multiply at all levels), it is very important that we draw strength from where our fathers and mothers, our grandfathers and grandmothers drew strength. They also had to go through difficult times: attacks by invaders, diseases, epidemics, hunger and poverty. But they were rich in faith, patience and therefore they said: βGod will not leave usβ ... And from these words, from this hope in God their lips were sanctified, their hearts were sanctified. And they passed on this grace to their children and grandchildren.
Unfortunately, in our time we put our trust in science and technology very much. But now all these hopes - on science and new technologies, money and intelligence, whether human or artificial - have not been justified. God Himself, Christ Himself wants to show us that we have only limited capabilities - in the field of science and technology, electronic devices, satellites, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence - to force us to kneel down and humble ourselves.
Precisely to "force", because we ourselves will never accept. Throughout our planet, pride and corruption have reached simply monstrous proportions. The saints can no longer look at it. And people are unable to turn to Christ with even one short prayer: "Lord, have mercy!"
Just think how important the Divine Liturgies we serve are. It is like a breath of fresh air for our entire planet, the whole world, the entire Universe. The further path of the whole world depends on you, dear fathers. What I am saying is not an exaggeration. From the liturgies that you will serve. And from the singers, and from each saying "Lord, have mercy!"
Now the so-called "New Age" has come, when most people have put
... keep reading on reddit β‘That is a VERY rapid ascent into the hierarchy of the chuch and into js' inner circle. The missionaries went straight to his house and a week later he and his whole congregation are mormons. Weird. Almost like he had been expecting a new religion to crop up with new scripture....
I think that rigdon coming aboard was clearly pre-planned, I believe those who later said that rigdon was to be the one who actually gathered Israel and prepared the way for the 2nd coming. Js was to merely be the translator...
So, after that long winded intro, my question is.... How did js prevent rigdon from taking over? Seems like there was a power play there. Rigdon was imminently more qualified to lead the church (and to write the bofm). He was the natural prophet imo. I wonder how js held onto power??
Anyone at all
Among a host of other issues, my vision isnβt great after receiving lasik in 2020. I went to an optometrist to be fitted for scleral lenses, and was told they wouldnβt help me. This doesnβt make sense, as these lenses are seemingly made for my issues (extreme dry eye/corneal neuralgia, halos, starbursts, triple vision, light sensitivity, etc.). Besides those problems listed above, my vision is also worse than it was with contacts. I canβt read signs on the road, clearly see faces, or clearly see anything like I could before. The optometrist I went to said this isnβt correctable. Is she correct? I was under their impression that any imperfections could be corrected with glasses or contacts, as my lasik surgeon told me.
We went to Easter service to please our parents since we don't go to church often.
The preacher talked about "eternal suffering" how you're going to go there if you don't "complete your bridge" now ignoring all the issues with various ideas of hell I was not surprised he used that type if hell. My family and friend liked the sermon as I figured they would since they're sheep and agree with whatever the preacher says.
We were in the truck on the way home and my friends GF actually questioned the sermon and the preacher. I know she's religious, but she actually questioned how useful it is to use hellfire sermons, and how the church makes her feel like a pos. I was so surprised I wish I was not in shock when my friends just dismissed it and suck up to the preacher. She's religious, but she at least questioned the preacher and on Easter. She was the only one that put more than fine seconds of thought in the sermon. What she bought up was good since I questioned the hellfire stuff when I was leaving my religion.
I will actually be able to defend her next time if I ever go with them again.
