A list of puns related to "Virtual Execution System"
Itβs called the Moo-trix.
So I read all the tips in game about how you get a high score in battles, but I consistently get 3 stars and am not sure what I'm doing wrong.
First off, if the damage bar resets each turn...wouldn't that encourage you to play in a way that is 1. debuff enemy while buffing yourself, 2. heal up when all enemies are almost dead, then 3. attack all monsters on the field so they all die on the same turn and thus get the high damage count without having it reset?
Just wondering since I get 3 stars with this method, so I'm not sure what's the best play method to get a high score. I'm still having fun ofc, just don't know why my battle style isn't working. I've also tried to just mob one enemy at a time to get rid of attackers on the field, but that gives me 2's often.
I fought some low level monsters and debuffed and killed them in 1.66 turns...got 5 stars. So confused...can you only score high when you're high level?
I read on some posts online that virtual functions (pure or not) come with some cost. Mostly in runtime and program space.
What's your opinion about it?
Have you used it?
A new letter to parents from the district backs away from the previously bright-line 5% positivity benchmark for moving a school from in-person to virtual with no clear metrics. Itβs now just: βDonβt assume we mean what we say or tell us what we said before. Weβll just tell you if and when we decide to close a school.β
Dear MCPS Community,
We are writing to inform you of a change in how decisions will be made regarding whether schools will transition from in-person to virtual learning due to positive COVID-19 cases. We have heard from families, students and staff and recognize that the pandemicβs changing landscape continues to generate concern for many community members. These modifications result from clarifications from the state of Maryland on the appropriate use of thresholds for transitioning to virtual learning β and bring MCPS into closer alignment with how large school systems across the country are keeping schools safe amidst similar COVID-related challenges. We appreciate our communityβs patience and perseverance as we navigate these dynamics.
The state of Maryland does not currently recommend any automatic trigger or threshold for the suspension of in-person learning. Therefore, MCPS will no longer use a threshold of 5% or more of unrelated students and staff in a school who test positive in a 14-day period to consider a transition to virtual learning. The 11 school communities that are currently engaged in virtual learning will receive more information by Sunday afternoon regarding next steps.
Moving forward, MCPS and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will examine schools on a case-by-case basis to determine if any particular school needs to transition to virtual learning for a designated period of time. Factors considered will continue to include the number of students and staff who have tested positive; the number of students in quarantine; the number of staff absent for COVID-related reasons; and the level of spread of the virus in the school.
Robust mitigation measuresβincluding masking, distribution of KN-95 masks, enhanced ventilation, high vaccination rates and increased access to testingβare in place and contribute to keeping schools safe. Identifying COVID-19 cases remains an important step for slowing the spread of the virus. Any student who tests positive will be required to isolate for 10 days from the date of the positive test or 10 days from the onset of symptoms, whichever comes first.
By early next we
... keep reading on reddit β‘Honestly, I love the idea of securing deliveries like this so they can't be left in the recycle bin, but how resilient is it if there is literally no way of generating the OTP yourself from your account or linked phone?
Could have a v.upset wife on my hands here.
For example the Slate VMS looks incredible. I see so many of us mixing in the box these days and only using analog on the front end. In my opinion, this sort of combines the hardware and software element together with still having the option to change it later, which I think it great unless the slate system or other VMS sound like shit. I haven't used it enough to really know. What's your opinion on it?
If doing ls
is IO command that relies on speed of drives like SSD or HDD (correct me if I am wrong)
Then I would like to reliable check how it affects with my current WSL2 SSD setup and when I will move to HDD in few hours.
Reason I am moving is low disk space on C drive.
You Won't Reach Herd-Immunity Without Mandates
At least five metro Atlanta school districts will begin with remote learning during the first week of the new year, as students prepare to return to school following the holiday break amid rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in the area.
Students inΒ Clayton County Public SchoolsΒ will return to school virtually on Wednesday, with "independent virtual learning at home" going through Jan. 7, according to a press release from the school system. Students and staff will return to face-to-face learning on Jan. 10.
On Tuesday, students attendingΒ Rockdale County Public SchoolsΒ will begin the new year in "a virtual/remote learning environment," according to a message from the superintendent posted on the district's website. Virtual learning continues through Jan. 7. In-person learning begins on Jan. 10, for students and teachers.
On Saturday: Atlanta Public Schools, as well as neighboring Fulton and DeKalb County Schools announced a return to virtual learning for their first week of classes as well.

One can only imagine how effective mandates could be to actually attain herd immunity....
