Interesting point of view, seems like he's a little behind on the tech being developed at Cardano though, no?

I have been a part of Cardano since Oct 2017 and bought my first stake on Bittrex. Just want to start by saying what an amazing event and achievement by the entire Cardano ecosystem and IOHK in particular! Charles is a true visionary and amazing entrepreneur. However I was kind of disappointed in Vint Cerf appearance a little bit, maybe I should have managed my expectations a little better. Vint is a true achiever and a very important historical figure. However I was a little upset about his seemingly simplistic approach to blockchain and Cardno in particular. He appeared to question immutability and other very important aspects of blockchain tech and came off as a little underappreciative. He appeared to be very concerned with Google competition and "searching for the next Sergey Brin and Larry Page" in their garage creating the next big thing not realizing Cardano is that next biggest thing. In other words my takeaway is that google wants to centralize TCP/IP more and Cardano wants to decentralize. Google already owns a big portion of traffic and wants more. This is my unfortunate take away from Vint's appearance. And I do understand that there is a lot of sceptics and we have a lot of work to do but Vint was the last person I expected to be negative about this brand new tech.
