A list of puns related to "Vika Oxygen Generator"
Hi,
I saw many videos of players creating oxygen generators without gas filter but in my case this is not working, I have too much oxygen going through the hydrogen pipe
For example, I tried to reproduce this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KzD2c6EQ7I&t=379s The first simple one.
But my pipes are full of oxygen, the top atmo sensor is above 1000 and the bottom one above 500
The video is old, maybe that the game logic have changed, is there any new model for oxygen production without filter ?

Hello, I just wanted to ask something. If you fail the skill check on the oxygen generator while on the last stage, do all the residents die instantly? I saw a persanoid push someone doing the generator and everyone instantly died. I wanna know this because sometimes you are 1v4 as a persanoid, and this seems like a good tactic to use when you are severely out numbered.
With Frontiers installed, I can't figure out how to construct an Oxygen Generator. I've got the Base Computer Archives quest telling me to construct one, but I don't seem to have the blueprints for it (it's not anywhere in the build menu), and I don't see it available for purchase from any of the Nexus terminals. Is the quest bugged, or am I being stupid (or both)?
Hi all,
Since the oxygen generator is so energy consuming, I wanted to optimise it's usage, so it starts working only when a lower threshold of air quality is hit and stops when the air quality reaches optimum level.
There were some solutions here before, but I either couldn't maKe them work or they seemed too complicated.
My solution uses two MEM components, two GREATER THEN components and one RELAY.
So the RELAY is powered by a wire from a junction box and power out is connected to the oxygen generator.
First MEM is connected to greater then, that checks whether the air quality is below 45% (by getting the signal from oxygen detector) and once it drops below that threshold, it's sends a signal "1" to the set_state of the relay.
Second GREATER THEN check if the air quality is above 98% and once it reached the threshold, it sends a signal "0" to the set_state of the relay (both cables from both GREATER THEN are connected to the same pin).
Important thing is to make both GREATER THEN send no signal at all when the condition is not met (ie. delete the value for false signal in both of them).
This works like a charm, turns on and off the generator only when needed and is simple to build.
I was just wondering if i get import an oxygen generator to mauritius. Link to product: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Portable-Home-Health-Care-Oxygen-Concentrator-Generator-1-7L-min-Machine-93-/324730785851?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0
Some time ago I helped an old man to his car from a doctor's office. He wasn't breathing well and carried a portable oxygen generator on wheels around. I am now in the market for one, and want to spend the money on something good; something medical grade.
Would the best course of action be to call a Medical Supplies store? Straight to the manufacturer?
I assume there are lots of worthless units on the market, and don't want to purchase junk.
I was confused about how much O2 I needed for a ship for any given hull volume, and I could not find any information regarding it. I went through each sub in the core game and recorded O2 generation and hull volume. There really is no pattern - the third largest ship (Typhon-2) has the lowest O2 generation. Plotting them in excel showed there is a very rough guideline to go by:
Take the total hull volume and divide it by 5,000. Don't go below 350 as minimum O2 generation if your ship's hull volume is over 1,500,000. There is significant variation with some subs doubling the "guided" O2 generation from my formula, and the Typhon-2 cutting it in half.
EDIT: Number of vents relative to Hull and O2 output is relevant as well. Approx. 30-40 O2 per vent seems to be normal, but there is considerable variation again with a range of 23-92.3 O2/vent.
For record keeping, this was calculated at the release of Thunder under the Ice update.
