A list of puns related to "Victorian Certificate Of Education"
I got the score I needed for a science course at my local uni so Iβm hyped. It happened a month ago but I couldnβt post it because this sub hadnβt even been thought of! I also finally turned 18 last week!
I don't really make much money at the moment but I would like to study from home and im just wondering if anyone out there has taking them and found them to be useful.
I get emails from class central because I registered to it once and I see they offer certificates in many different fields like computer science and marketing etc....
If anyone has information that could be helpful in my discerning whether or not these are viable I'd be very grateful.
Thankyou.
I was considering doing a CertHE in business management or HRM part time. Iβve checked and a few universities accept them as the first year towards a degree for a range of courses including business management, Human Resources, international business and Business law etc.
So I could progress to a full degree or have it as a stand alone qualification. I donβt want to commit to a 3 year course in case I want to change after the first year. For example i could complete 1 year have a higher certificate in business management and then do a BA in International studies etc. The open university offers many different subjects I could study as a CertHE that leads to degree progression.
If anyone has experience in this type of qualification or if hiring managers even care about it as a stand-alone qualification please share your experience.
Hi all, hope someone around here can help to clarify this, I'm going back and forth with the company handling the Visa application, but they haven't been much help.
Back in 2016 I moved to Dubai for the first time for work. At the time, my employer handled the Visa formalities and took care of just about everything.
My documents were issued in my home country in Europe, so I had them attested/certified by the UAE embassy there. They have an official stamp and whatnot.
I mailed this document over as part of the usual process and everything was a breeze.
Fast forward to now and I am returning to Dubai for work, after having left in 2018. The new company which is handling the Visa application is now telling me that the same document (which was previously used to issue my previous Visa) now has to be attested by MOFA in the UAE and that I will have to go to Burjuman to get this done.
I will only be in the country in a few weeks and I would rather have the process started in advance so it can be completed ASAP.
Does someone have experience with this? Does it sound right that the exact same document has to be attested in person before the Visa can be issued?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Hello, I am currently pursuing the BSc in Computing & IT, and after I finish my current 2 modules, I'll have the first 4 needed to get the Certificate of Higher Education.
I didn't grow up in the UK, so I really don't know much about how the education system here works.
Does anyone know if this certificate would qualify me for some low level entry level position or internship I could work at while I continue studying? (I'm currently not employed)
Also, after I complete the next 4, is the diploma any useful as well?
I don't plan on leaving before I get the BSc, but just thought would this benefit me in the short term.
Thank you!
No degree. 1 internship doing CSS work, 2 years contracting doing test automation (selenium) and 2 years doing DevOps (Jenkins/docker/K8s/AWS/Python).
I quit my job to take some time off and whatnot. Iβd like to now spend 1-2 months sharpening my skills and increasing my chance of landing a killer job.
Should I get my AWS certificate?
Should I get my Kubernetes certificate?
Should I take Linux academy courses to learn more about networking?
Should I build and launch a side project to show my abilities?
Should I do leet code?
Should I take some basic CS courses?
Should I try my hand at freelance work to diversify my experience?
Should I try to launch a DevOps consulting agency?
Hi there! I am currently working in customer service and I've been researching Procurement/buyer and inventory analyst positions! They seem fun and, I've done my research. Procurement has openings accepting of individuals without a degree, nearly at a volume that contends with entry level IT support positions. The difference is that IT support has certificates (CompTIA) that do not have a prerequisite degree requirement.
I haven't done a ton of research, but I've found a few nationally recognized certificates. Unfortunately most of them require a degree and/or time spent already in a purchasing position!
Is there a well known certificate that I can begin working towards without a degree and without experience, that would help me land an entry level position?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Iβm from jc and I am unable to find my A lvl PW certificate. So what do I bring instead, I mean technically we will get an actual a level very in Feb right so for now what should I do?
The details are on pages 3 and 4.

Apologies for possible formatting issues because I'm on mobile. I also understand that the principals are going into a briefing at 3 about the roadmap.
I'm already bracing myself for the part time f2f teaching. It's going to be so messy.
Edit:
I failed at linking things. The return to school information isn't available yet for regional Vic and won't be until the 30th. My brain thought it was the same at this point after looking at the simplified roadmap.
It is stated on the blue letter that we have to bring our education certificates on enlistment day. However, I heard from many people that no one will actually check these certificates. Furthermore, I'm an IP student and only have my PSLE certificate, so do I really have to bring it?

Hi all. Has anyone done or know someone that had done a diploma/higher certificate in education at a private instition? My sister has been applying at the public/mainstream universities (CPUT, UCT etc), she's also tried Unisa but was rejected by them all. Please recommend a place that would offer her a means to get to a qualification to teach foundation phase education. Distance learning would be preferencial.
Is it worth it? Howβs the course load? Fees? Did it help you in the long run to find fir opportunities in the field? Thank you.
