Many people will remember Vera Miles from Psycho. She was the one that discovered Mother in the basement, in one of the greatest plot twists in film history. But, she was also excellent in The Searchers, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, both starring John Wayne. In this episode, she kills a very young Martin Sheen, a brilliant chemist and a former lover. For good measure, she drugs a young lady who tries to blackmail her, which leads to her demise. Vincent Price also has a small but fun role as a corporate rival. Like a lot of episodes, it’s the little things that help catch the killer. In this case, a bit of poison ivy is an important part of the puzzle. Not in my top 10, but still a very good episode. Have a great night everyone.
