A list of puns related to "Vaati"
I noticed a bit of a detail while watching a trailer analysis. The shield that Link has during the night gliding portion of the trailer has an eye symbol on the back of it. Now most people appear to think this is a Sheikah eye, but I think that it looks far closer to the eye of Vaati, at least as far as we have seen it in various symbols around Hyrule. Here is the shrine of the Four Sword, and here is the shield from the trailer. Further more, the whole bottom part of the symbol on the shield could be a representation of Vaati himself. What do you all think? Is this just a neat inclusion or does it have more meaning for the game overall?
Vaati hasnβt said anything about E3 and SGF and itβs weird, because he usually talks about these events and do a livestream(example :state of the play 2020 , game awards etc.) . I find this very odd. I think he might know something since heβs the biggest souls YouTuber and worked with Bandai Namco many times. What do you fellow hollows and woopers think?
I cannot believe I am seeing people asking for an easy mode for this game. What is interesting is that they most likely have never played a From game or quit aftwr they died couple times.
I am not a good gamer at all. I am also prob one of the older guys on this subreddit in my late 30s, and nowhere am I better than tons of people I meet online.
But I beat even Sekiro which doesnβt even have coop for help.
From games are not hard for sake of being hard like many games and their hard modes. From games are crafted from ground up to be a certain difficulty. Hence, it doesnt have an easy mode nor hard mode (excluding ng+ but that is another story).
The amount of people asking for easy mode for the gane is mind boggling. This used to not exist even around Bloodborne era
The first one being the info on how stamina wont play a huge role in hindering the player. A vast stamina pool works fine when used against npcs, but is tedious to deal with in pvp. One thing I loved about pvp in dark souls 1 and 2 were the facts that people couldn't spam roll (unless wearing the flip ring in ds1) and were easily punished for trying to roll with heavy weapons/armor. In bloodborne and ds3, people just spam the dodge button without having to worry about any negative repercussions and it just lowers the skill ceiling when you don't have to manage stamina.
The other thing that irks me, albeit, slightly less, is the fast travel. It was just such an awesome moment in ds1, having had to push forward, and struggle, without looking back, when you finally got the lord vessel, and unlocked the ability to fast travel. I just hope the 1st region has no fast travel, and then it unlocks after that first regions main boss is defeated, because I understand each region will be huge.
I'm fine with this getting removed since Andy himself did say he didn't want to get into it.
I was watching the all gael run and at some point he was talking about the souls youtubers and how he was genuinely disappointed in ymfah, then he briefly mentioned vaati, got seemingly legitimately mad and moved on without elaborating.
As an aside, this run looks like hell. At least with the gwyn run there was a reliable strategy, this seems down to getting lucky with about 30 different factors.

The fact that they have improved some ideas from the last games and worked around it instead of sticking to ye old reliable is just ππΌ. It mostly resemble DS3 but the more you look into it the clearer it gets that they got inspiration from Sekiro and BB
I'm fairly certain there was another name that was much more popular before Vaati became a hit due to his Prepare to Cry series. Was it ENB?
Edit : thanks all! ENB!
Edit 2 : Wait, what happened to all his lore videos?!
