A list of puns related to "Utilization Factor"
I had a card with a $10k line get cancelled a couple years ago due to missed payments (rough period of time for me). Since then Iβve improved my credit over 200 points, and close to paying off that same card, but worried my credit will take a hit once it has been. Did the credit line not factor into utilization the day it was closed, or once itβs been paid off?
Hey all, Iβm in Canada, currently in the journey to fix my credit after years of stupid mistakes from when I was younger. I have a closed credit card thatβs in βcharge offβ and has a balance of around $4000. My question is this closed account factored in my credit utilization ratio. Iβm not sure if the account is worth paying for me at this point since itβll fall off my credit report in 2 years but if paying it will help me in anyway to repair my credit Iβll do it. Any answers help thanks!
I am an authorized user on an account belonging to my parents, who have never paid late and never paid a dime in interest to any credit card issuer. However, there may be months where my credit score takes a hit due to their large spending. I would sometimes see a utilization of > 50% for that account, and they don't seem to think it makes a difference as long as they pay off their balance in full every month. Most recently, according to my Credit Karma account, their utilization for their most recent statement period (the only thing that changed between successive updates) brought my score down by about 70 points. The balance on that account each statement period is a dice roll, with my score sometimes exceeding 800 if the utilization is reasonable.
Would my authorized user balance still factor into my approval odds for a new card? Basically, if my application needed to go to reconsideration, would I be able to win with an argument that I am not legally responsible for the account which I am an authorized user on, thus I don't think it is fair for that to have a bearing on the decision? Or should I just wait until the utilization on that account drops back down to a reasonable level? If am interested in one of the Chase Sapphire cards, if that information helps. I heard Chase has recently been cracking down on account holders who have anything questionable on their credit reports or activity, and it can happen even after their system automatically approved a new card.
Im on my first project and I feel like Im going to get a bad review because my skills and adaptability isnt up to par. However, I feel like I am going to have a high utilization rate for the year and up until its time for promotion. Does anyone have any experiences or stories on people who got bad reviews but high utilization, and still got the promotion to senior? Any input helps, thanks!
I paid off a card. It has a $4000 limit which looks GREAT for my credit considering I have some higher utilization on my other cards. I don't want it to stop being a factor in that aspect all together. It's a jewelry card so it's not really a revolving credit type thing. I could of course, buy a small trinket ha. Just curious how soon it stops being counted if I were to not use it for anything else. Thanks
Hi all -
I've always had a great credit score, until I ran into some things that caused me to end up using 98% of my $11,000 credit limit (combined between a couple accounts).
I analyzed my credit score, and I have zero late payments, a decent amount of history (for my age), and a solid amount of good standing accounts. The one negative on my account was obviously the utilization rate, however that is the one thing that I have the most control over going forward!
My question is, if I dramatically lower my credit utilization from say, 99% to about 30-40%, will I see that reflected on my score? My score isn't terrible, but I'd like it to get up there again, as my lease on my car is up July of 2016 and I am going to want to lease at a good rate again (My credit utilization was low at the time of my original lease).
All thoughts are greatly appreciated.
I know that hop utilization decreases as boil gravity increases.
This is true when calculating the IBU of the finished beer. Does it have an effect on the aroma and flavour of the hops though? Basically, will a higher gravity boil extract less flavour and aroma from the hops?
Will two identical beers have different amounts of flavour and aroma if one was brewed with the full 5.5 gallons and the other just 3?
Thanks for the help!
As we witness a new all time high for Bitcoin, it is worth reflecting on the things that have changed since its previous highest value.
A vast majority of the reason for Bitcoin and other major alts reaching their highs back in May was little more than hype. Memecoins like Doge, and the rally of the GME stock were leading the way. The FOMO was real. Unfortunately, this is what also led to a large portion of the drop and the subsequent massive dip. Since the hype was never going to be maintained, there was little else propping up the values.
Since then however, a number of projects, particularly Bitcoin specific, have promoted more viable long term investment and adoption. Some examples include:
This time, it is much more than just hype driving the rise and use of Bitcoin.
