A list of puns related to "Usb Flash Drives"
Hello folks,
I have some strange issues with my USB ports on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) running on Big Sur 11.2.3 (20D91).
I have three external hard drives, none of them get recognized. They do get power from the laptop, but not showing up on drivers' lists.
I was almost sure that USB ports are broken. But then I tried to plug in a USB flash drive and it worked. I did however need to restart my computer until it showed on the drivers' list. This tactic did not help though to get the external HDD working.
What could be wrong with it?
The wiki seems to specify SD cards
I was just wondering if a flash drive can run games if it's 3.2 Gen 1.
I know load times are slow but can they run them? or at least faster than a 5400rpm internal HDD? And will the stick burn out quick? I've heard that USB sticks are not designed for intensive I/O operations. Thanks a lot in advance.
Hey guys,
I did a stupid mistake and I hope someone can help me.
Today we have received a new laptop for work but Win10 was preinstalled by the seller. To avoid security problems, I wanted to delete the current Win10 system and I created the file I needed to a USB flash drive so I could boot from the flash drive when starting the laptop and reinstall Win10.
Everything went fine until I was asked to select the partition where to install Win10. Of course, I chose the biggest one of the shown 3 partitions, but unfortunately this was not possible because the programm told me that (I try to translate it as best as I can) "The partitions on the selected disk do not follow the recommended order" ... I have never seen this error so I googled and found this page: (I know it is in German but you may figure out the main commands which were used)
I did everything and after I had refreshed the menu, I could only pick 1 partition now instead of the previous 3. And it worked. I was able to completely install windows. BUT when I wanted to delete the created file on the USB drive because it was not my drive but my boss's USB drive, the data which had been saved previously by my boss's son was gone. The only thing left on this drive was the data or backup or whatever I created in the first place and all his scans were gone.
I tried recuva, I tried EaseUS Data Recovery and even testdisk but without success. I have to admit, testdisk seems to be too advanced for me so I thought maybe anyone of you is able to help me with my problem? I really hope I can find those scans :(
I have a toshiba tecra 8000 and its very old but i dont have any drivers for usb peripherals.
Can you help me.

I couldn't care less about capacity or read/write speeds. All I want is something reliable and durable. Something that has the lowest chance to fail. Whenever I look at a flash drive on Amazon, I see dozens of reviews of people saying their drive failed in like the first week. Which is the most reliable, tried and true brand? Samsung? SanDisk? Kingston? I also need it to be durable, something that can take a decent amount of abuse. Little dirt, little rain, being dropped, being stepped on, etc... Also would prefer one with a cap to protect the connector part. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a USB-C drive I can keep plugged into my MacBook most of the time. So far this is the smallest I can find, but it still seems a bit bulky. I see tons of tiny USB-A drives, so I'm wondering if there are smaller USB-C ones.
Any suggestions?
