A list of puns related to "Upper Street"
They even have a bouncer and everything.
Welcome to the UWS Bike Club's third ride!
This Sunday (21/11) we will be riding from the Upper West Side of Manhattan to Sunset Park in Brooklyn, passing through the lovely Hudson River Greenway, Brooklyn Bridge, and Prospect Park. At the end we will stop at Industry City for some street food.
The ride will be 15 miles total. Make sure you are of reasonable fitness, but rest assured no one will be dropped :)
The route is Citibike friendly, and there is easy access to the D/N/R lines at the destination (36 St station), should you wish to take the subway back.
Meet at the Citibike stand, at the intersection of West 72nd Street and Riverside Drive (40.780631, -73.985578) at 10:45, to start riding at 11:00.
If you wish to join halfway in Brooklyn, meet at the Citibike stand at the intersection of Jay St and Johnson St (40.6950895, -73.9872665) at 11:45, we will leave at 12:00 sharp, for Industry City.
Bonus: if we are in the mood after lunch, those willing can continue riding to Coney Island and Brighton beach! There is a lovely view on the boardwalk. This will be an additional 10 miles, please note that there are no Citibike docks at the beach
Hope to see you there!
What other options do we have for really fast internet? Is citylink still a thing? Any other suppliers I should contact? I want at least 2gb down, 500mb up.
Hi, I'm in the process of wanting to move from the suburbs back in towards central London, namely somewhere with good connections east and west, and islington seems to fit the bill with the piccadilly, northern, and Victoria line.
With that being said are there any areas that should be avoided? I've largely been looking around caledonian road/Holloway road as more properties that are affordable to me seem to pop up there.
Thanks in advance
