A list of puns related to "Unthreatening"
Like an angry 5 year old, crossed arms and all, but they're just adorable and you can't take 'em seriously.
Thanks!
My sleep paralysis is pretty different to what youβd imagine. I did have one episode that was terrifying af and Iβm still not convinced there wasnβt more to it than being a bit stressed or something like that.
But the other times I had it, theyβre very harmless. Of course, I canβt move anything except my eyes, but itβs not pitch black, there isnβt a weird demon thing staring at me and I donβt have the horrible pressure on my chest.
Itβs daylight, looks to be late morning and it feels as though thereβs someone asleep next to me. I can feel the dip in the mattress and I can hear them breathing, but Iβm not at all threatened. Sometimes I can feel them slightly pressed against me. But I just ignore them and go back to sleep.
One time, I could hear them waking up and theyβre moving around. So I tell them if theyβre going to get up, then get up because Iβm trying to sleep. I couldnβt tell if I said that in my my mind or out loud but they obeyed. I couldnβt see them, but I could definitely feel them slowly climb over me to get out of bed and they nudged the head of the big unicorn I keep on my bed.
What are your thoughts on this?
Every chapter up to the Conviction Arc an Apostle seemed like a creature so overwhelmingly strong and sadistic that facing one was like a god ordained death sentence.
So strong that Guts needed to be better than he needed to be with a sword (in the world of humans) just to be able to kill these things.
Ever since Guts found the Berserker armor heβs been butchering apostles like those humans during the Rescue Griffith chapters. And he was already at demon slayer level by then.
The Apostles just donβt convey a lot of threat anymore.
At this point Iβm kinda hoping Griffith sends a demon army to rape and eat all the little woodland creatures in Elfheim.
Like, I'm on my 3rd character and his frustrated face when you first see him makes me wanna pinch his cheeks.
Edit: Can I even add a flair on my phone? My computer died after 7 years of loyal service.
A recent Press Freedom Index score penalized the US for the President's verbal attacks on the media (calling them 'fake news' and the like). I believe that this has nothing to do with freedom of the press. Even if the government gets to put a logo on friendly media calling them "Verified" and calls unfriendly media fake or tabloid, that should still be totally irrelevant to the press freedom index unless that bashing can be expected to result in financial penalties, arrests, or beatings.
The only things that should count towards a press freedom index are the number of topics/words/viewpoints that will result in a financial, legal, or physical penalty for expressing. Those can be official rules with legal penalties, informal calls for mobs to beat reporters, taxes on specific journals, or funding for compliant journals that is denied to noncompliant journals.
OH, I'm surprised to learn Aya is familiar with the concept of city planning.
It seems to have become a long-standing tradition in the U.S. Navy to name warships after major political figures, regardless of their particular martial ferocity or international legacy. This has led to other countries having ships with names like Britain's Vengeance or France's Orion... versus American vessels like the USS Carl Vinson. Nothing against Rep. Vinson and his achievements, but it's not a name to strike international terror. And yet, the Vinson strike group on its own is probably one of the most formidable assemblies of naval power in the history of the human race. It just doesn't seem appropriate, somehow?
